You mean be aggressive and tactical like he was in 2016? Naw baw. It's ok that he came off as a blubbering dumb shite last night. Because Trump.

Exactly, anyone that thinks this was ymthe 2016 Trump is mistaken. He was tactical inn16, last night was just rambling most of the time. And my biggest gripe was that multiple questions were God damn Beach balls that could have been launched had he played it right and would have knocked Joe out for good.

Now he left Joe a chance.

Very true but its still DJT.

He wasn't elected because of his personality but in spite of it.

Would you prefer he lay down for the steamroll?

Look Fat, I wish he was a better public speaker and would inject the numbers with his facts but he’s the blunt instrument we have to defeat these leftist fricks.

Trump wasn't aggressive enough. Secret Service should have ambushed Biden on stage and arrested him for treason.

I too miss the old days when a proper Republican like Mitt Romney would politely pull his pants down while a team of even more polite establishment Republicans would swarm in to lube him up before he was fricked to death by a Democrat on live tv . Gosh, I miss civility.
Yeah, sick of playing their stupid games.

Idiotic comparison.

The Media and Political opponents Reagan had to deal with was NOTHING compared to what Trump deals with on an hourly basis.

What you’re not realizing is that last night’s show was just that - a show.

People have already pretty much decided which way they’re going to go. Last night didn’t change anybody’s mind. It just proved that both candidates are exactly who we thought they were.

It’s needed when he talks with the press, it wasn’t really needed last night. Biden just smiled and clearly didn’t know what else to do. Regardless no minds were changed.

This. I think it's funny how many here seem to think that there's a large number of undecided voters just waiting to be swayed by a debate performance.

WHY DIDNT TRUMP JUST SIT DOWN, SHUT UP AND TAKE IT LIKE MITT ROMNEY DID.

To be fair, it wouldn't have been difficult for Trump to have been even more aggressive, more forceful, more persuasive - by being better prepared and more effective in debate. Trump had a few opportunities where he could have ended the f'n election on the spot, and he didn't rise to the challenge. I think there was a lot he did well, but he could have done himself (and all of us) a world of good by taking advantage of the questions/topics on COVID, racism/BLM, and realities about where big money is politically today.

Now use this same mentality with all the rioting, looting, and burning down of our nation by the left.

yes he is. in real life he is because people are tired of the behavior from the left - rioting, looting, violence, homelessness, needles, feces, illegals, taxes, etc.

his style isn't the issue. brainwashed americans is the issue

he's tried that. they've proven they don't play fair and lie about everything he says
