Birth tourism is a problem. It's not SCOTUS's job to fix that problem
The Supreme Court today made clear that it's job was to enshrine the problem through a non-contextual interpretation of the constitution. What's done is done.
Those of us who value common sense will have to find ways to legally circumvent the Supreme Court's stupidity. For example, we could certainly cease to allow gravid foreigners entry into the country as birth tourists. It is possible we could insist as a condition of entry under certain visas, or asylum that paperwork be filed rejecting US citizenship of any child born during their period of stay.
But the Supreme Court did this country no favor today.

The framers weren't dumb. They knew what the wording meant and moved forward anyway.
So, the framers intended for millions of third world illegal aliens who hate this country to come here and shite out a bunch of babies, then force law abiding, hardworking U.S. citizens to pay for them, while they invade and destroy our country from the inside? Hmmm.... Something tells me the legislative intent for the 14th Amendment and birthright citizenship wasn't to facilitate that scenario.

We are going to “principle” ourselves right out of being a republic.
Those who despise and wish to fundamentally change America have skillfully exploited our system and laws to their advantage.
They have played it well.
Yup. Impressive on their part.

Sillly. If we can’t control our own borders, it’s our fault. Has nothing to do with China.

But the Supreme Court did this country no favor today.
