So his bond was rejected because he did not include I believe a financial statement with it. He will have to provide one now. If he does do this and changes it could this be used against him as another case of fraud? And if he does not change it (he has already been accused of financial fraud would that be another case of it or would double jeopardy apply on that case?
If he does change it is an admission of guilt from what he did before?

It would seem to me that all that should matter is that he posted the bond, right?

It was rejected because it was not complete he did not include the financial statement. So if he does change when he gives it to them he is kind of admitting his guilt to it prior.

That has to be drug out indefinitely. Even if he provided everything, they would say he didn't use the proper pen to sign it, or he didn't wear the proper colored tie that day.

Trump has a bunch of incompetent people working for him. This has been demonstrated over and over starting with Michael Cohen. Steve Sadow is the only competent person he has in all of his legal cases.

Guilt of what? A person can forget to include an item and this isn’t a crime, it’s a mistake or omission.

All the financial stuff was covered in the freaking case...

they fined him...he puts up bond and now they want more statements?

Hell no...

These people, if true, they need to be taken out back

this is abuse of power

I'd say, tell you what, go ahead and sieze my building...

and when I win the Presidency, you're going to get the attention you're seeking...

FYI, Trump had .00000001% of a role in obtaining the bond. Whomever was charged with getting it taken care of fricked up. It happens. It will get fixed.

If a person puts up a bond, what difference does it make whether there is an additional statement? How does a statement provide any additional security outside of the bond?

What are they really fishing for?

Let me explain it in better wording.
If he changes the very records he is being accused of falsifying is he in a way admitting guilt to falsifying them.

You do understand that Trump's financial condition is different that when he submitted the paperwork for those loans, right?

You are being downvoted, but you are right. Trump’s refusal to hire good lawyers and listen to them is a real head scratcher for me.

What, specifically, are you alleging is in the financial statement that would prove guilt in the valuation for the loan application case?

Of course,

his financial condition is tied to markets and markets change every day, hour, and minute.

Whatever he turns in can only be a snapshot in time. It can never reflect real time conditions.

That's good news

This will drag out well into 2026-2027.

It was probably advised for him not to produce a Personal financial statement and why would he in NY. They (prosecutor & judge) could do the same thing they're doing now.

Also, PFF statements change constantly depending on value of assets.

If this is your attempt to clarify your point, I’m not sure you have one.

Why would they need a financial statement?
