I think everyone is getting desperate for a deal at this point. I hope I’m wrong and things like tolls are not being discussed. I can’t think of a single reason of why any further negotiations would need to take place over opening the Strait though. Its opening has been negotiated to death at this point. Maybe they are talking and trying to work out a plan on removing mines? That and tolls or fees is all I can come up with and everyone seems desperate enough to let Iran do it at this point.

To some degree, you are right.....but this dismantling of IRAN is critical to the WORLD!!!!

Trump screwed up by listening to neocons. We have the most powerful military in the world and no country is likely to ever invade us successfully.
That does not mean we have the ability to force other countries to do our bidding without an extreme amount of effort, well beyond what it would be worth and likely never succeeding ultimately because it's always a matter of time before the people revolt successfully. There is a reason they use intelligence agencies for coups and puppet installations along with heavy propaganda nationally.
If our military is to be used overseas it should be limited to only freeing other countries from invading militaries. That we could do very well, and the people would actually love us for it rather than seeing us as the invaders.
Neocons should be regulated to being a 3rd party.
