Trump says negotiations with Iran start tomorrow afternoon. The negotiations start out on opening the Strait of Hormuz with nuclear negotiations to follow after.

Now why should 1 more second be wasted on talking about opening the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait has been negotiated over already. It is supposed to already be open on multiple occasions. I fear the negotiations are not about opening the Strait but allowing Iran and Oman to charge fees, tolls, taxes, or whatever you want to call it. I hope I’m wrong but at this point everyone seems desperate enough to give in and let them do it to get a deal. Which means everyone in the world that can toll a Strait will be doing it within a week or two of a deal being signed. And we all know how that will work. The prices of everything will go sky high because businesses will pass that cost to the consumer. Let’s just hope that Trump doesn’t give in on a toll.

Trump wins a golf championship and then spars with the fake news. The man is indefatigable.

He’s just full of crap at this point. Parameters of a deal last night to negotiations resume Monday.

Would you prefer he send pallets of cash to Iran to get a deal? Would that be preferable to you?

But wait, the MoA opened the strait, so why are we negotiating again

Trump looks like such a bitch. Quit fricking talking and end them or pack up and go home. You’ve already lost more than gained with this bullshite.

Can someone tell me why we care if Iran charges the Euros and the ChiComs a tax on their energy?

Well what negotiations need to take place over the Strait at this point. All Iran has to do is stop shooting at ships and it’s open. We have a clear path to get ships through without fear of mines. Why does one more second need to be wasted on talks about opening the Strait unless we are talking about things like tolls.

Trump said we didn’t need the oil coming through the Strait of Hormuz. So why is he negotiating to open it?

We immediately violated the MOU by trying to open a second corridor.

Because if you let Iran do it then everyone else in the world that can will be tolling or taxing a Strait. It would be setting a precedent. Think about how much business that travels through the Strait of Taiwan. Now imagine China tolling that Strait.

Opening the Strait was one of the conditions to the original 2 week ceasefire.

I've seen the point about the corridor been made by about a dozen people including Joe Kent, John Mearsheimer, Lt. Col Danny Davis, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, etc., etc.
