Like closing the border?

I've given Trump credit for that and it's well deserved

It's pretty much the only thing he's done well so far IMO

That’s my president. Can’t wait to vote for him again in 2028.

Bragg, Rucker, and Benning I never bothered to learn the new names, because that's what they are.

The sad thing is mother rucker has confederate soldiers buried on the grounds.

Most people still call it Lee Circle and 90% of the monument -- the pedestal and base -- is still there. Just need to get the bronze out of the city shed and put it back up, assuming the city hasn't melted it down yet.
It's Tivoli Circle. Stop erasing history.

Agreed but I went to Ft. Benning, it will always be Ft. Benning.

This is what it's all about.

And the next Dem will change it back. It is a fricking waste of tax dollars. Just name it after the area and be done with it.

After they change them back, if Congress could go ahead and pass a law that it takes legislation to change the names in the future, that'd be great.

Too much pendulum swinging and money being wasted.

Damn right Ft. Polk is back

Leonidas?

I drove by the place of his death on Saturday around Kennesaw to visit some old friends.

The reason the US government named many of the southern bases after confederate generals was an olive branch to heal and help reunify the militaries after the civil war, which was a good and necessary thing. It's really that simple. Jefferson Davis didn't name those forts and bases during the civil war. The Yankees in DC did, after the fact, for reunification purposes.
