Good.
The fund was bad enough on account of the potential for abuse, but the underlined part is the even bigger problem.
If the DOJ under Biden as a sitting POTUS had negotiated a deal with the IRS exempting himself and Hunter from any enforcement actions, this board would have melted down in record time.

The Trump administration plans to drop the Department of Justice’s $1.8 billion “Anti-Weaponization Fund” in the face of legal and political pushback to it, reports said Monday.
The fund was created as part of a settlement of President Donald Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service. It is intended to compensate people who were purportedly victims of prosecutorial overreach by the DOJ under the Biden administration.
In addition to the DOJ creating the fund, the settlement included an agreement that protected Trump and his family members from any enforcement actions, including audits, related to their tax filings made before the deal was announced.
Reports that the fund was being put on ice came after House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., met with Trump at the White House about the fund.
“I do think the best way to handle it is if the administration decides to shut it down themselves,” Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., told reporters on Monday.

Your obsession with “this board” and the hypotheticals you invent is weird.

Good. This fund paved the way for Jan. 6 insurrectionists WHO ATTACKED POLICE to sue for damages.
Even Trump realized that was a bad idea

Well then bring back the DOJ lawsuit. That was the agreement. No fund, no lawsuit dismissal.

You seem to be a bit confused about what you said. While that funday not be placed in effect that settlement is happening. As far as the thingy of protecting The Big Guy, Hunter and cronies kinda happened with autographs from pen & photocopying. But your point is understood, laughable, but understood

Should have never gone this route in the first place.
He should have either forfeited the settlement or accepted and donated it to tons of great charities out there. Hell, give it all to multiple children’s hospitals.

If the parties to an agreement decide not to enforce their agreement, that is between them.
Trump is not going to re-file his lawsuit against his own administration. His attorneys are likely facing sanctions for filing the first one. Their brief defending themselves is due June 12.

or Jan. 6 insurrectionists WHO ATTACKED POLICE
The only people "attacking police" were some of the 274+ confirmed FBI and fed assets on the premises that day, cosplaying attacks with Capitol police who were in on the act.
The only people harmed were unarmed women military veteran Trump supporters.
The fact you're still calling it an "insurrection" proves how absolutely brainwashed and retarded you are. Loser.

Sort of like giving blanket pardons for crimes not even investigated, right? Guess you were ok with that, hypocrite a-hole!

No. They're not. JFC
Tell that to the Judge. Their brief is due June 12
I mean, yeah, I think they will come up with some acceptable excuse to not get sanctioned, but they won't be re-filing the case. And having to file this reply brief is a form of sanction in itself.

Here, the non-party movants advance grievous allegations that Plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed this litigation solely to avoid judicial scrutiny of a lawsuit that “was collusive from the start” and was only filed to provide the imprimatur of legality for an unlawful settlement.

Accordingly, it is ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that Plaintiffs shall file a response to the Motion (DE 63) on or before June 12, 2026, detailing their position on the matters set forth in the Motion, including (1) the charges of collusion and whether the Parties are truly adverse; (2) the assertion that the dismissal in this case was premised on deception by the Parties; and (3) the question of whether the case should be reopened because the Court was the “victim of a fraud.”

dude come on they were FBI agitators/antifa/not-MAGA people
I love how simultaneously the people at Jan 6 were patriots victimized by the DOJ but also they were antifa who riled people up.
So so so dumb

You don't want to go down the pardon path here man... Trump's a pay for play president. Donate $1m, get a pardon. Tons of fraud and white collar criminals scamming every day Americans have gotten off by cozying up to him.
It's corruption of the highest order.

What about the ones who raped Santa Claus? And those Easter Bunny tacos were just the worst kind of cultural appropriation.

Prove it. If there was any proof, impeachment three would have happened long ago. Everything is always Trump this Trump that. Truth is, Trump is targeted by the media and the filth fawn over every gotcha there is. You are a hypocrite bringing up Trump doing it when pedo Joe did it in the last 4 years and the left loved the idea.
