Yeah, the CT logic does make things challenging here. Lack of evidence is expected in conspiracies since conspirators conceal/destroy/obscure evidence, and so it's tough to reveal/investigate your way out of it if you've bluffed. Trump's inclination is to always lean into the CT, and that works when you're not in charge of investigations, but now that there's a unitary executive DOJ where it's not plausible that DOJ isn't representing his will, if he's alleging a CT, but no one there like they're trying to root it out (or if they're failing to find cabal even if they're looking), then people infer that he's in on it/implicated rather than "there's no cabal after all".

There's no TDS on my end man, but MAGA's frickin' filthy with it.

He tells MAGA to go frick itself with this Epstein shite. He now has a loving relationship with Lindsey Graham and is fully on board with arming Ukraine. John Bolton, Mike Pence and Bill Kristol are very pleased with President Trump. And he's now "carving out" (or selling out) to corporate labor interests on deportation.

You forget that lack of evidence IS evidence of the conspiracy.
That's the pickle for Trump and the DOJ. The reality will never "live up to the hype' which means, at that point, THEY are now "they" and are part of it.
Trump, Bondi, Kash, etc. aren't stupid enough to not know this. The signaling isn't that "there is no list" as much as "the 'list' is supremely underwhelming".
