"In addition to the 10-year-old girl, four other children, all but one born in the U.S."
Cant make an exception for a family who abuses this nation like that. It makes no sense that 2 illegals can hop the wall and every kid they have is an "American"

This did not happen under the Biden admin.

It’s MSNBC which means it’s most likely 100% made up or key facts are missing

emergency medical check-up
I stopped here with that article. There is no such thing as an emergency check-up.
You violate our sovereignty and shite on our laws and then expect a free ride and to bestow US citizenship upon your child as a result of your encroachment into our nation. This is on the parents. Feel bad for the little girl, but this is on the parents.
Let's see if Mexico picks up the tab for her medical care, or maybe if those cartels step in. They have the money.

I suspect this was 100% medicaid and CHIP.
For her and the 4 other children with them.
I wonder what that family has costs taxpayers over the course of their stay here.

The family ultimately decided to remain together.
So, Trump didn't deport the 10-year old US citizen, and NBC lied. The girl's parents deported her voluntarily.

The family’s attorney said the parents have no criminal history.
This is factually incorrect. Their existence here is a crime.

Healthcare is actually much less expensive in Mexico.

Put them in the system and tell them as soon as the doctor's give them the all clear then they have to go back
we already have a system to allow this activity..There is a reason they dont use it..they dont care about our laws, .the parents were likely deported more than 1x or arrested in the past and were fugitives any they finally got caught.
bad timing....criminal aliens and previously deported aliens are in the tier they are looking for right now..that is a fact

The family’s attorney said the parents have no criminal history.
Ummm, the very first thing they did upon entering the US was to violate federal law. Once they crossed the border, they technically became criminals, and therefore have a criminal history.
Why is this concept so difficult for liberals to understand?

They were driving through checkpoints. From the article:
quote:
During their previous trips, the undocumented parents of the 10-year-old, who is a U.S. citizen, were allowed through the checkpoint after presenting authorities with letters from lawyers and their daughter’s doctors. This time, however, authorities deemed those letters insufficient and arrested the parents for not providing proper documentation.

From the article:
Can you imagine how much this family is costing USA taxpayers?
quote:
The 10-year-old isn’t the only member of the family who is being treated for a medical condition. The couple’s 15-year-old son has a heart disorder known as Long QT syndrome, which causes irregular heartbeats and can be life-threatening if not properly treated.

I don't fricking care, Margaret.

On Thursday, a Customs and Border Protection spokesperson said via email that the reports of the family’s situation are “inaccurate” because “when someone is given expedited removal orders and chooses to disregard them, they will face the consequences” of the process. They stated they couldn’t speak about the specifics of the case for privacy reasons.
CBP says at least one of the parents had an expedited removal order so there is more to this story. The initial story sounded like they just got randomly stopped in the border zone and booted back to Mexico, but the CBP statement mentions an expedited removal order, meaning they already had their day in court and were told to go home.
