Kinzinger is more likely to be redistricted out of his seat by Illinois democrats than he is to win a primary let alone win reelection in November 2022.
His district is on the chopping block. He will not be a member of Congress in 2023.

I’m sad that he’ll make 7 figures annually as a lobbyist but at least he will lose his seat and most of his family and childhood friends dislike him.

That's only if anyone on the hill actually listens to him and he has worthwhile connections that has juice. In my opinion, he's way too high profile of a public figure to be a lobbyist and GOP politicians will avoid being seen with him like the plague.
He's far more likely to spend time in the green rooms at MSNBC and CNN than yukking it up in boardrooms on Wall Street.

Yeah about that.....
Trump just endorsed Liz Cheney's friend to beat her in the primary. She was a big cheerleader for Liz.
Was there really no one in the entire state of Wyoming that could be better than that and still give Liz the thrashing she deserves?
It drives home the point as to why people cheer really loudly whenever Trump makes a good endorsement because they don't happen very often.

Even that's still more worthy of the payments to him(Kinzinger) than the phony money laundering payments Hunter Biden is getting from the CCP for his "artwork".
