Elon was one of a multitude of mistakes Trump made setting up this administration

Trump ran on ending these massive omnibus style bills and his first legislative accomplishment is getting a massive omnibus style bill full of pork and other garbage.

And if you like a higher federal debt limit you are an enemy of his. Don't bother saying that a higher debt limit doesn't mean they won't max it out. It's government spending we're talking about. It'll be maxed out in a couple years and then we'll need another increase.

More like Elon is an engineer on the spectrum and a billionaire who is the richest man in the world meets a small time billionaire who happens to be POTUS.

Washington is a cesspool and unimaginably beyond repair.

Trump is trying to do what he can but getting played like a fiddle.

Elon wants to burn it down.

There are extraordinary circumstances that Elon doesn’t appreciate.

The congress isn’t motivated by elections. They owe their soul to the devil and the devil gets his due.

Probably choreographed by Trump and Elon to give Elon space he can use to rehabilitate his reputation in the EV buying community.

I don’t think that’s possible with Trump. It’s pretty much his MO.

Elon is going to do whatever he wants. He's not beholden to anyone, and of course he was going to disagree with Trump at some point. I wish Trump would swallow his pride though. Elon's currently posting decade old tweets from Trump that shows Trump disagreeing with the premise of the bill that he's pushing.

I think this breakup may be contrived to help Tesla stock and to help liberals lay off of Elon. If they know he’s turning on Trump, Elon will be back in their good graces.

What if this whole spat is being orchestrated to get the leftists off of Musk’s back so he can be more successful with Tesla and his other ventures?

Another fricking boomer who has no idea how the government works.

For the slowtards that seem to make up a majority of this place:

1. Congress doesn’t pass bills anymore that include anything remotely controversial such as extending tax cuts, cutting taxes on tips, OT, and SS, and securing the border.

2. The only way to turn that stuff into legislation is through these retarded omnibus packages that only require 51 votes.

3. None of Trumps stuff in the BBB are bad, not even the whiniest bitch here disagrees with that.

4. The shite everyone is melting about is CONGRESSIONAL SPENDING.

Read those last two words again.

Congress is responsible for the waste fraud and bloat.

It blows my mind that grown arse men lack the brain power to understand this.

As long as you take the bait and blame Trump then Congress will continue to rape your arse and laugh while they count their money.

If you honestly want change then direct your rage at the people responsible for it. Aka Congress.

I'm just calling out all of the morons who voted Trump saying he was different, he showed us his true colors back in 2017. He's exactly the same as any other neocon, except worse because he's retarded enough that congress calling it the "Big Beautiful Bill" tricked him into supporting it. Now he's pissing off his allies and doing exactly the opposite of what he ran on.

But hey, more of the same for you figs

Edit: oh yeah forgot this bit

Trump is the one who took the bait from Congress, and here we are getting raped because he's exaclty like every single president I've had in my life.

Who brings up Desantis again?

You people are so funny.

Listen, bub, Whoever you are, You folks scream melt anytime you see something you don’t like, hurts your feelings or is remotely critical of Trump. It’s past time for you to try another strategy.

What you are really mad about isn’t me. It’s the news that Elon has pointed out that Trump lied.

You are free to lash out at me all you want but you should have some discernment ability and the ability to not take everything as an affront to you.

Maybe.

Probably not.

Who cares? It's all fairy dust. It's $36T right now. What's a few more? It's not going to change.

DeSantis is the bugaboo for these guys now even though DeSantis is doing more to push Trump's agenda and support him than Trump Administration officials or anyone in Congress.

The hero worship element of MAGA thinks the movement is fracturing a bit, which is only made worse by the sentiment toward Elon on here, so they're freaking out about it and their first instinct is to bizarrely blame DeSantis for that even though he really doesn't represent any of the issues/players that are harming Trump or his agenda.

It’s low hanging fruit the exasperated can easily reach. Nothing more.

Their bigger problem is we have nothing to do with this spat. Talking about it offends their sensibilities. Reactionaries lash out.

Elon praised Trump for 3 months and it was all an act.

Perhaps he praised him rightfully when Trump was saying all the right things, then began criticizing Trump when his actions didn't match his words?

There are some wins in the BBB, but the spending increases in certain areas, the ignoring of DOGE-proposed cuts, and the raising of the debt ceiling again are unacceptable. I stand with Elon on that hill.
