DC exists first and foremost to protect itself.
Rule #1 in DC is to never rock the boat. Never rock the boat. It's why Seth Rich was murdered - that's what happens to people who rock the boat.
Everyone lives by these rules in DC. That's why they hate Trump so much - he doesn't play by those rules. Unfortunately, everyone in his cabinet does outside of a very small few like Ric Grennell.

Obama was never going to be implicated in this. I want whatever you are smoking if you think anything is ever happening to him. A huge win for Trump/Barr would be the Brennan and Comey scalps but that’s the best it will get

You may be right but you seem to act as if Obama is somehow the tip of the spear and is somehow indispensable. Don’t forget, Obama was put into power and he can be removed from power if necessary. He is by no means master of his own destiny.

As long as their legacies are tarnished and people know what they did for the rest of eternity, I’m fine with it. Prosecute the rest. A president will never be prosecuted because they want to protect the office and Washington will protect its own.
