Newt was being adulterous as he brought charges.

Everyone knows that.

Who cares if clinton had fetish sex?

I agree with op.

Once you go full puritan while banging your side piece you open to unreasonable push back.

I didn't realize that there had been an article accusing Clinton of fetish sex in violation of the Constitution. Was there?

I think there is a "what goes around, comes around" flavor to this impeachment sham. People can act like they were outraged over the perjury that Clinton committed. Or the fun he had in the oval office. But it's kind of like catching Al Capone for mail fraud.

The Clinton impeachment was a weak attempt, by my very own political party, to try to get rid of a president that they couldn't beat in an election.

... it's just remarkable Nixon was forced to resign while the democrats get to keep rolling on with their destuction.

Nixon was not forced to resign. He resigned for the good of the country. He could have put up a spirited defense, that was expensive in several ways. In the end, he didn’t have a majority in either house, so instead of putting the country through it, he graciously bowed out.

Right. Multiple felonious crimes are no big deal when a president commits them...

Its democrats that have gone full puritan. Just try telling a joke. Or having a picture taken with a republican. And they have the loooong list of words that may not be used in any circumstance.

Clinton was a relatively moderate President compared to the commie filth the Dem's are running out there now

Clinton was closer to Reagan in ideology than the libtard progs running the Democratic Party in 2020. Let that sink in.

Umm, no. That is giving Bubba wayyyyy too much credit, and Reagan entirely too little. There is very little that is going on in the socialist democrat party right now, that Billy Jeff isn’t perfectly fine with. Remember, Hillary was supposed to give us socialized medicine in Clinton’s first term. People want to say this kind of crap about Clinton, but he was just as libtard left as any of them. He was just smart enough to know better than tie himself down with piddly things like conviction, or principle. Accomplished liars are like that, you know.

You're trying to pitch this as a victimless crime akin to smoking marijuana. Not true, his lying under oath was an attempt to deny someone he sexually assaulted her day in court. You can act like it was all about a sexual sin for getting a BJ but it's more than that. Don't know why we are still having this discussion 20 years later. I'm guessing you think OJ is innocent as well?

Not enough to remove if that's the "crime"

Hence why he was rightly aquitted. Context WAS used. Not in this case.

In this case there is no crime, so the decision to aquit should be immediate to anyone with a brain.

True or false. GOP impeachment of Clinton by ApexTigerover his sexual sins in the oval office are why we have endless investigations and division?

No; the extreme division we have now is directly tied to the "No new taxes" by Bush I. They made a behind the scenes deal and the Dems reneged and the extreme division has been there ever since.

Every prof-feminist will still support any Democratic President no matter what s/he does as long as s/he continues their right to abortion.

The Dems and their media allies brought down a Republican president, and have been thirsting to do it again.

I am amazed at people who still choose to think Clinton was impeached for sex.

I mean I don’t think lying about a BJ under oath is a removable offense and the Republicans were reaching, but it’s hilarious that people rewrite history.

And honestly, if he hadn’t said “sexual relations” he would be fine.
