Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Monday said he had cancelled all Treasury Department contracts with the consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton
, one of whose employees leaked the tax records of President Donald Trump, and the billionaires Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, to media outlets.

Booz Allen Hamilton’s stock price dropped by 8% on the heels of the Treasury Department’s announcement.

The department said it currently has 31 separate contracts with Booz Allen Hamilton, totaling $4.8 million in annual spending and $21 million in total obligations.

“President Trump has entrusted his cabinet to root out waste, fraud, and abuse, and canceling these contracts is an essential step to increasing Americans’ trust in government,” Bessent said in a statement.

Definitely bad for business to leak your clients confidential information.

The company probably had its employees sign non-disclosures and they breached their agreement.

That sucks for the company who may have had no bad intentions.

When your stock drops by 8% and you lose $21 in potential earnings that's when you either :

- A - Double down on OMB and watch shareholders revolt (like some did in Trump's first term)

- B - Announce you've found the leaker, fired and intend to sue them.. along with instituting new safety and security controls to prevent it from happening again.

He probably fit right in with most people there. Just took things a little to far. A bunch of CIA spooks' decoy jobs are with BAH.
