Is a shame watermelon has become a symbol of racism. Is good and healthy. Water melon, salt, picnic table, and waterhose- when your done.

This is the paradox of faux-racism. If you serve watermelon, it's patronizing and stereotypical. If you don't serve watermelon, you are denying Black people their heritage and culture.

Grandpa, grew watermelon to supplement his income in the 1970's.

No. There’s nothing superior or inferior about liking watermelon.

In the Midwest we love watermelon , especially early season when it gets good.
