I think Trump and Putin in general respect each other and to some extent like one another, they also are both looking out for the best interest of their respective nations.

Alaska has Fallen II - It is 2065 and President Barron Trump returns to the site of his father’s amazing escape from Russian clutches way back in 2025. As he sifts through the ashes at an encampment in the wilderness his security detail is attacked. “I thought no one knew we were here.”, hollers the secret service chief before he is gunned down by Russian Nationalists. “Nyet, you American filth!”, mutters Vladimir Puestayvitch as he crushes the chiefs neck under his boot.

Little do these Russians know that Barron learned Eastern European survivalist skills from his mother Melania. He flees into the woods and for hours he eludes the Russians. Then he is confronted by a shadowy figure that has him at gunpoint, Barron makes out a young woman’s figure, will she shoot him…?

“I am Xochitil!! My mother was Inuit and my father was an illegal alien Mexican that your father chased here to Alaska! I should let those Russian dogs take you!” Even though she has him at her mercy Barron is attracted to this strong fierce woman. What will she do, turn him over to the Russians, or take him with her further into the darkening forest?

Meanwhile delusional zelensky says they will not agree to giving up any territory....while Russia occupies 20% of it and continues to march west.

Give Russia the oblasts and they stop now. Otherwise they will continue til they have Odessa as well and ukraine is totally screwed.

Everyone is sick of the killing. I do want an investigation of where all that money went, and zelensky should get his just punishment, along with US instigators of this mess starting with ms nuland.

Vlad likes killing. He has another million in the queue.

The only way for this to stop is Vlad is dead.

Supposedly the baddest dictator ever and Trump gets him to meet on US soil.

There is an ICC arrest warrant out for Putin for the taking of Ukrainian children and giving them to “new Russian parents.” Putin won’t set foot in or fly over any nation that has ratified the ICC because he would be subject to immediate arrest and extradition for trial. To my recollection this is Putin’s first trip abroad since the warrant was issued.

Of course, the US has not ratified the ICC treaty. My guess is that Alaska was chosen because that is one of the few places in the US where Putin’s plane can fly only within the sovereign airspace of Russia and the US.

You use “baddest dictator ever” to downplay Putin’s “badness” to make him seem like he’s not so bad. But the Alaska meeting certainly highlights that Putin is under international criminal indictment for some extremely bad stuff.

I don't know what grok has to say about it but I was told the same story by 5 or 6 different Russians when I worked there.

My driver even said to me one day, "When is America going to return Alaska to Russia? It's rightfully ours."

I pretended to not know what he was talking about so he told me the whole story again about the Tsar being tricked by the Americans.

I said to him, "Weren't the Tsars some of the smartest people in Russia? I am surprised one of those Tsars allowed himself to be tricked by some American bureaucrats. How could that happen?"

My driver was speechless and had no reply. He never brought it up again.

I have heard so many different things. I think it is purposeful for security reasons.

I heard 2PM EST. Alaska is 4 hours behind EST. ( But will need Roger to confirm this part of Alaska's time difference)

So it is really unknown.

I saw that it is a 7 hour flight for Trump.

It is being said Putin will get a lavish welcome greeted by President Trump onboard the plane. But who knows what news to believe, that was from Moscow Times.

CNN or Moscow Times, what is your poison?
