Watch out. A lot of people on here are about to support Taylor

Anesthesia is at the mercy of the surgeon. Why should we be punished if the case last longer than it should be?

What is the duration cutoff? What kind of surgeries will get affected?

It’s very common practice to watch a procedure or 2 before committing to a surgeon. Just time them or request previous surgical records and do t choose one that routinely goes over. If you let doctors take as long as they want they will naturally extend the procedure.

First our POTUS sells out to our adversaries, the Congress to the MIC/war profiteering, then our probable NC Quarterback bails to Michigan for the bucks and now our Doctors. Wonder where this stops. “ For the love of money is the root of all evil.” Hard lesson coming.

You really know that you suck as a human being if both the far left and the far right hate you at the same time for the same reason

Did she do anything more than publish the name and picture? If she provided context like "contact the CEO" or something, that's going to change things.
These HMO / insurance companies are not popular. If we adopted my healthcare plan, we would be rid of that nonsense.

The amount of people in the OT thread who approve of the cold blooded murder of that guy is rather disturbing.

When all a person thinks about is politics, your life becomes nothing but politics and your true self is shown through that lense.

I’ve seen quite a few people on social media, mostly leftists, celebrate this guy getting murdered.
It’s really evil and disturbing. Yet what can we expect from a group of people that celebrate abortion and push for perpetual warfare.

I think that is very uncommon for surgeons to do that but there is always one or two bad apples in the barrel.
I worked hospitals 35 years and only ever heard complaints from surgery nurses about 2 Drs.
One would drag cases out to get hours in.Another would try to do laparoscopic surgeries but wasn’t good at it and invariably would have to open the abdomen after mucking around for a good while.
It’s good to be a nurse or have one in the family to find out Drs to go to and which to avoid.

She's mentally ill. She needs a friend to intervene and get her off the internet and get her the help she so clearly needs.

It’s probably pretty easy to access who is the ceo of blue cross and blue shield if you want to know.
I’m not defending Taylor and have no clue who the lib is but it’s not like she posted her home address. I do agree though it’s pretty much a dem dog whistle to incite violence against her by posting the other stuff.

Might be dementia. She's certainly old enough to consider.

Surgeons don’t get paid more for extending the procedure (there are exceptions but it is not financially viable to do so). Surgery is bundled care. You are reimbursed x amount for the procedure. Generally no matter how long it takes. You can add on modifiers for complexity and time but they are generally denied by the insurance company. So not worth it to just extend time. Surgeons make money on volume. Anesthesia on the other hand gets paid by time. They can do things which extend time. This rule is super shitty. It’s to try to pressure the anesthesiologists into hurrying, but it’s also a back door to disincentivize hospitals from letting slow surgeons operate.

I’m not justifying killing or threatening to harm anyone but these insurance companies are evil. They are strictly about the bottom line and will push things as far as the government will allow. I’m surprised this is the first time something like this happened. You pay for insurance your whole life and when you need it they deny coverage or nickel and dime you to death.

I’m not out in the streets celebrating like the left, but I’m also not overly concerned.
I think some of this is a natural reaction to the environment that specifically the left has created where there is a two tier justice system. If you see friends and family locked up for petty nonsense but guys like the United ceo skating on insider trading and other things that make them above the law, eventually nature wins out and you start to see this play out in the streets. You can’t have a joke of a two tier justice system and expect no incidents of violence to break out. You also have the have vs have not thing playing out where those that don’t have are going to target the halves. This is once again caused by the lefts inflation, when families can’t heat their homes or afford groceries, those making a lot end up in the cross hairs, right or wrong.
Also health care is an extremely emotional and charged area, then you have the companies putting in things that harm patient care and you will get this reaction. Hazard of the business, when you mess with peoples lives they react poorly.
