i'm curious if they're trying to add in ectopic pregnancies or miscarriages to make that statistic stick.

i had a flight by a lady yesterday who decided she wanted to talk about Texas abortion laws with me. I didn't ask for it and i tried to be polite, but she decided she wanted to talk about it. i think some kindness i showed to somebody else on our flight made her think i was open to talking and supporting liberal politics.

she had a married friend that was going to have a baby born without lungs and her doctor told her she had to have the baby and try and care for it instead of aborting at 8 months. there was so much wild disinformation in her statements, i didn't know where to start. also she said she was so broken hearted. as if she wouldn't have been broken hearted aborting her baby at 8 months anyways.

then she said she had a friend that has had 3 abortion in the last 2 years and then after the Texas law, decided that she will wait and have sex till she's married and ready to have a baby. There's an ocean between abstinence (which i support) and using abortion as birth control.

I told her that was a bit more the point than controlling women. we want men to be responsible for the babies as well and it was almost as if she never heard that concept from the right before. ended mostly friendly, but i didn't really want to get into that.

Guys like Kimmel and Howard Stern gained popularity by being "outsiders" who were willing to say and do anything, even if it was offensive. Now, they are part of the "club" and desperately don't want to be forced out of the cult of personality.

Kimmel's big break was the Man Show. He would have mercilessly ridiculed his current self as host of the Man Show. Now he gets to sit at the "cool kids" table and there is no level of pathetic to which he won't stoop in order to remain there.

These guys are two of the most pathetic media sellouts alive today. They are NOTHING like the guys who became famous in the first place
