Yeah but at least your tax dollars are spread further throughout our capitalist economic system. You want big cheese and big bread to have a monopoly on raking in all those welfare monies? Spread that shite around.

I had to google Dubai candy bar. That's expensive.

I was in the walmarks yesterday and notice that the "share" size, used to be a king size (screw Mars), was over $2 and I thought that was high.

One of the founders of Crumbl Cookie bought a house, about a quarter mile from my house, for over $8 million. The house was brand new (admittedly an abomination). He tore it down.

Certain politicians are in cahoots with businesses that completely rip off American tax payers. Health Insurance: It cost so much because you are offsetting the Healthcare for others. College Tuition: Colleges can charge whatever they want because the Government will just loan you the money. The politicians and the head hunchos are completely fcking us over.

Dubai chocolate has jumped the shark to the poor people trying to look rich. They don't even like it that much, just for show

I don't understand why ebt can be used for anything other than absolute basics. Canned food, processed cold cuts, bread. etc....

When I was younger and struggling I had to cut back on the nice stuff. I bought a lot of canned food, chef boyardee, bologna sandwiches. I sure as heck never would've bought a $19 candybar. So why is it ebt users can do whatever they want?

Did she buy it with EBT ? I think that's the point the OP was making.

My gas station has a separate pos machine they use for ebt. The main pos machine that is screwed onto the counter
isn't all encompassing like the ones at the grocery stores are.

Main pos machines handle tap to pay, debit and credit cards. Basically everything except ebt for some reason.

For ebt, the cashiers need to grab two smaller pos machines from under the counter. Cashier uses one of them to set up ebt pay, then hands the other to the customer so they can swipe their ebt and enter their pin. That's why it's extremely easy to see who uses ebt there. If it was at a publix, food lion or Harris teeter, etc, it would've been much harder to tell if anyone used ebt. Because one would either need to actually get a glimpse of the card they used, or would require the customer to outright bring up that they are using ebt.

I dont care, unless I catch the weirdo trying to peep into my wallet. Then the inbred will catch these hands.

I can remember when my Dad bought an entire case of Hershey chocolate bars for like $30 in US cash.

Most of these ebt folks are just feral hogs.
