Fox News covered this today.
Today begins the first day of continuous sit down meetings between Jeffries, Schumer, McConnell, and whoever runs the Presidency.
It will be an all out 4 against 1 to pass the Ukraine War Bill while our own border stays wide open to millions of entering illegal aliens.
Enormous pressure will be brought upon Johnson from all 4 opposing participants. Threats, bribes, blackmail, everything will be brought to bear to get the Republicans to fold yet again.
We’re about to see what Johnson is made of when he’s put to the test. He’s new to this role, he’s outgunned, outnumbered. It will be tough for him.
Whoever runs the White House
Jeffries
Schumer
McConnell
Versus
Johnson

This is where we see how much mettle Johnson truly has.

Not outweighed in cognitive awareness,
if there is a cave-in it’s merely the DC coercion.

Johnson’s political future depends on him standing firm.

Johnson should do a livestream immediately after they break for the day and tell the public about all the threats made etc. I suspect he'll do the typical GOP thing though, and claim to take the high road, then cave to the Insurgent Class.

The threats: The Senate and Presidency are safely controlled by Democrats, and the House is barely controlled by the GOP.
This isn't that complicated. The GOP is in a major position of weakness, and Patriots are making it even weaker by creating splinter divisions within the House.

The turtle isn't putting pressure on anyone. That man has lost all his faculties. He might be in worse shape than creepy dementia Joe.

The CR still looms. That’s plenty of power if they can come together and use it, but I’m sure there’s just enough greedy pieces of shite GOPe to frick it up.

This is why Kevin McCarthy and the RINOS did everything they could to weaken and nearly give away the house - guess they couldn't convince a few others to give up their perks before the next term.
Screw them. If Johnson stands firm and calls out the tactics and the Ukrainian first crowd, the nation will reward him and the Republican party with landslide victories. Enough to overcome much of the deep state election fraud.

The DEMs already control this narrative.
They just have to publish the stories they've already written.
Shutdowns always hurt the GOP.

Johson should stand firm, pass HR2 and we'll bring the aid up for a vote.
Unfournately this is the only way I think aid will eventually get passed and we will never get another chance at immigration reform because dems won't pass it under a republican president.

This negotiation should be televised.
It’s simple.
The border must be closed today before we talk about giving borrowed money to any other country, including Ukraine.
Say it every time they ask or suggest anything.
Hell, I’ll go up there and face those twits and stick to that message.
But only televised for the world to see.

The border and not spending any more on Ukraine is worth it. Besides , I don’t think a shutdown will hurt them in this instance.

Giving the DEMs all 3 branches in November is "worth it" when all you get back is virtue signaling?
Explain

The economy and the border ARE the issues for this election. This plays into that. The house would have gone along with the senate bill if they hadn’t gotten the pushback they did.
