I guess I'm paying for that. Amazon just went up $20 a year for Prime.

“Struggling musician”? That mean “unemployed” or “busboy”?

Of course, the money will be spent inefficiently and they'll be demanding more within a couple years.

They have to get the systems in place first and the workers for the programs.

Do you expect these people to work for free and without health care and pensions? Then they can work on helping the homeless.

Some laugh about things like this, but these idiot leftists in WA and IL succeed in destroying their states then carpet bag to our red states and start voting leftists into office here. Rinse, repeat.

There's still a lot more people coming in than leaving but it feels like it's hitting critical mass with the idiots in Seattle constantly lording over the rest of the state. It wouldn't bother me in the least to see the city knocked down a peg or two.

Even still, they send loads of "monetary support" to him, because they believe he should be happy, believe what he wants, and "chase his dream".

That is the absolute worst thing they could do for him. I'm assuming he'll live off the inheritance as well without working a day in his life

Oh, make no mistake. It means unemployed. Funny thing is, I was in a metal band for almost 20 years. In Oklahoma. Played lots of shows. Great, loyal fan base. Cut and produced our own CD and sold a few thousand copies. All while all four band members held down full time jobs and raised and supported families.

This guy is single. Never been married. Can't/won't hold a job. And has been trying to "get his big break" since he was 17. I'd bash him for it but it's actually pretty sad that he's devoted his entire life to getting absolutely nowhere.

The issue is that the progs will move with the job. Bringing the idiotic mindset with them. They move but hold on to the ideals that made them have to move.......Austin is where this is glaring. Here in South Carolina we have the libs from Ohio. I am shocked talking to them they still believe in the utopia of home, I ask them why they left and it was for job reasons but they dont realize why the jobs left.

Amazon stopped work on a new building in Seattle because of this.

Government is so stupid. People driven by profit are way more agile and will shift things to protect that profit.

Toyota had enough in California and moved to Texas.

If that crap passed, Seattle could start changing the headings of its stationary to New Detroit.

Honestly they're just moving back home. Seattle is mostly transplants.

Gonna be a lot more homeless in Seattle when these businesses fire all of their employees and move away.

Even if they don't, logic would assume that the homeless would flock there.

Ironically a supposed non-socialist just posted this:

How about ridding your shithole city of drugs then watch the problem disappear.

So I guess we could say...

The so-called "head tax," or tax on employee hours, would raise about $75 million a year to build affordable housing units and pay for homeless services.

Seattle's Slogan for the passing of that tax law: "All your homeless are belongs to us"

San Francisco is paying the council members off in Seattle to pass the tax.

This will be the scene at Washington's borders
