Pardon my ignorance here but are the voters there more of a country club type, rural or a solid mix of the two?

Solid mix of the two. Cherokee and Bartow are closer to being as rural as you can get and still be less than an hour away from downtown Atlanta. It's the college educated types at Kennesaw State University in Cobb that know more than all of us who are problematic.

It's only been in the last couple of election cycles that we've been past this fable that Cobb county has the ability to go blue as a whole. South Cobb is much more urban than North.

I don’t expect Pons to win, Loudermilk is entrenched and has about a half million cash on hand compared to Pons’ $15K.
But I’ll do my part in trying to elect a better Republican.

I would not expect much better if he somehow does win. A politically ambitious former military guy is what AR has in Tom CIA Cotton who loves him some Ukraine and the corresponding funding.

But I fully support getting rid of ALL incumbents considering what an utter disappointment the entire US Congress (both houses) has been for a very long time.

Does mommy still make your sammiches and cut the crusts off as well. So you would vote for someone who will NEVER represent your interests in Gap Tooth Stacy instead of someone who would represent 80% of your interests in Kemp because he would not create 12,000 votes in the last Presidential election?

Does she choose your girlfriends and make your bed too?

These guys won't vote for a dude that has a 89% score from a conservative group and would rather have Big Gap Stacy than Kemp.

Kind of makes one wonder what their priorities are...

As I've stated a thousand times over, I'd vote for Fat Stacy over Kemp 10 out of 10 times if push came to shove. Frick the GOPe.

Loudermilk's penchant for funding Zelensky's retirement has been my #1 gripe, and I've called him out on Twitter on the regular about it.

But there are plenty of other dealbreakers for me too, such as his glowing love of Mike Johnson, his fear in questioning voter fraud in the 2020 election and straddling the fence on what needs to be done, and his relative silence on J6 political prisoners.

Think you've got it bad?

I've got James Lankford.

Wrong.

You make the change happen in the primary. It's f'n retarded to think you'll do anything but lose by helping Democrats win seats in congress.

Rs have proven time and time again that they don't show up for primaries. Also, GOP party politics plays a massive role in who is actually on the ballot. It's all about money and even the GOP won't let something like the will of the people get in the way of their cut of the cheese.

What's retarded is voting for a republican simply because he's not a democrat.

It makes absolutely no difference whether it's a democrat or republican if the republican votes like a democrat. Why would you reward a liar or a coward for lying or being a coward? You're just going to get more of it each time because they figure out pretty quick that all they have to do is lie or hide.

If your rep is a GOPe or RINO, voting him out is good. He voted with the dems and hung out with them. You've ceded zero ground, gotten rid of a liar, and most importantly, put the enemy in front of you by having a dem in the seat.

If we're not willing to take some short term losses for long term victory, then we will, deservedly, lose.

Again, it makes no difference if a democrat is in office if the republican votes the same way. Why is this so hard to understand?

You really don't see a difference between Biden and Trump as president?

No difference between a Republican controlled House/Senate and a Dem controlled House/Senate.

I have big problems with most Republicans because most are soft AF and many are too far in the center, but I'll crawl across broken glass to vote for Trump in an effort to keep Biden the frick out of the WH and the same goes for congressional races.

None. And saying otherwise is disingenuous. Johnson is in bed with Jeffries and McConnell and Shumer are one in the same. This is so obvious it's not even worth debate.

You're purposely ignoring the part where I explicitly stated "if the republican votes like a democrat". That phrase was in both quotes you replied to, yet you conveniently ignored it.
