He’s an enthusiastic and proud supporter of every billion of US taxpayer money he voted to give Ukraine.

That’s enough. He’s lost my vote in this primary and in the upcoming general if he’s the nominee.

But there are plenty of other dealbreakers for me too, such as his glowing love of Mike Johnson, his fear in questioning voter fraud in the 2020 election and straddling the fence on what needs to be done, and his relative silence on J6 political prisoners.

Today, I’m voting for Michael Pons, a political newcomer and retired Air Force and airline pilot.

quote:

"I’m a 68-year-old America First candidate in the Republican Party. I am a retired airline pilot who is upset at the direction our leadership has taken our country. Running for political office was never in my plans. But witnessing the managed decline of the United States is unacceptable."

quote:

”It appears that our current Congressman, Barry Loudermilk is engaged in supporting the Biden Administration. He regularly supports democrat bills. Loudermilk voted for $40 billion dollars for the never ending war in Ukraine and the inflationary Fiscal Responsibility Act which provides unlimited debt and spending until Jan. 2025 bypassing the 2024 election year. This was a surrender bill that essentially handed the purse strings of power to the Democratic Party and the Administrative State.”

quote:

”The #1 priority of government is to protect it’s citizens. This is warfare through invasion. Today drug and human trafficking cartels are controlling our southern border. Over 10 million people, from over 100 countries have crossed the southern border since 2021, nearly doubling the amount of illegals in this country. CBP are now the processing agents for anyone crossing the border who claims asylum. The migrants get a court date to appear seven years later. Migrant families get $4,000/month, free medical care and their kids get a free education. At the same time Americans on Social Security get less than $3,000/month and our veterans are sleeping in the streets.”

quote:

”The FBI conducted the largest manhunt in American history with the round up of J6 protesters denying them their First amendment rights. Right here in Georgia, Fulton County DA Fani Willis has falsely accused 19 defendants including Donald Trump with a creative interpretation of the RICO statutes. The Justice Department labeled parents domestic terrorists because they are concerned with the unhealthy communist brain washing techniques of SEL, CRT that teach gender confusion, racism and drag queen story hour. I will fight to deconstruct the unelected 4th branch of government, the bureaucratic Administrative State.”

quote:

“We are at a very precarious time in our country. I’m not just talking about the small margin that we have in Congress of Republicans, we are facing things like the weaponization of government for political purposes where the government is targeting people because of what they believe — I have never seen it this bad,” he said.

quote:

“Our constitutional republic was designed for one thing and one thing only, to control the federal government, not the people,” he said. “Time after time, you see Congress after Congress come and go, and they take our freedoms away. They spend, borrow, print, and inflate the money supply. The Fiscal Responsibility Act was a fiscal fiasco. Since then, we have increased our debt by 10%. We lost all the power and all the control. We handed it over to the Democrats.”

quote:

Asked if he believes the 2020 election was fraudulent, Pons said “absolutely.” “Five states stopped counting votes for various reasons. So it gave them a chance to say hey, I’ll tally the votes and we need 12,000 more votes…they got 30,000 votes through a machine that were mail-in ballots that were, no postmark,” he said. “So we’ve got problems.”

I don’t expect Pons to win, Loudermilk is entrenched and has about a half million cash on hand compared to Pons’ $15K.

But I’ll do my part in trying to elect a better Republican.

Looks like a closeted fig.

The prison pussy is a dead giveaway. It’s not 1998 anymore and you’re not on Orange County Choppers.

Loudermilk was my rep until this past redistricting, now I'm in the new CD-6 which was designed to go Dem.

What is the takeaway if Loudermilk wins? I have no idea of the makeup of the district.

Wrong.

Nothing changes until something changes.

This is a lazy, gay, and pathetic boomer-tier garbage dialectic.

If the incumbent votes alongside the dems, he's a dem. Doesn't matter if he has an R by his name.

At this point, it's much better to have the enemy in front of you than behind you. That may mean short term "defeat" for long term victory. Unseating an incumbent RINO is always a win.

If you want to keep voting for that shiny red R because it's shiny and red, then have at it. Just don't complain when the ratchet keeps cranking left even with R majorities.

It's called throwing a cultist's typical response right back at him.

Glad you agree it's lazy, gay and pathetic. Can add childish as well.

eta-As for the rest of your response;

LINK

He has a better rating than the republican average.

Cue in the board retards of "muh but the seat will go blue!"

You're doing the right thing and I commend you. As I've stated a thousand times over, I'd vote for Fat Stacy over Kemp 10 out of 10 times if push came to shove. Frick the GOPe.

Pardon my ignorance here but are the voters there more of a country club type, rural or a solid mix of the two?

So what's your thinking there? Elect Stacy, she either fricks up or consolidates power and either the Republicans and electorate realize that Republican governance needs to rely on "principled" conservatives and come next election some "Principled Conservative" waltzes into the governor's mansion and initiates a Renaissance?

What happens if your bet falls the other way and in your scenario Stacy stays for 8 rather than 4 and gets a chance to affect the bureaucratic culture? Then you are screwed......but you can still get to complain.

I hate that I won't be able to vote against Marjorie Taylor Greene again this primary (she is running unopposed). Oh, well, I will have to vote for her again in November.

And I’m going to keep reminding you guys that you don’t really want that. It sounds good and vengeful for the wrongs that have happened but you don’t ever want the dems to have control. I’ve lived it here in California with it going from red to deep blue. You’ll wish for the RINOs once the dems take over. There is a massive difference between the two but you don’t see it yet. Pray that you never get to that point because it’ll be too late if you do.
