If your rep is a GOPe or RINO, voting him out is good. He voted with the dems and hung out with them. You've ceded zero ground, gotten rid of a liar, and most importantly, put the enemy in front of you by having a dem in the seat.
If we're not willing to take some short term losses for long term victory, then we will, deservedly, lose.
You're hoping that you'll get something better in the form of an America First representative. That's a gamble and depending on location it might make sense. But if you end up with a dem in the seat you'll get nothing that you like and a whole lotta stuff that you don't like. That isn't winning, that's getting your butt kicked. Losses like this pile up and have long term detrimental effects. We're talking energy policy, environmental policy, tax policy, border policy and so on. This is how you get an amnesty bill put in front of a dem president just for starters.
