Hypocrisy at it's finest.
He ordered the door be opened for the purchase of Chinese Transformers ...... Pieces of trash.
Then shouts "Buy American!"
And no Alex Jones ....you don't know what in the hell you are talking about .....Transformers do not communicate, their controls are capable ....and there are no Chinese controls on any Chinese Transformers that will communicate in the US Grid.

AJ aside because I don't listen to him, have you examined the transformers? Are you qualified to determine whether or not they have chips in them to communicate to the US grid?

The order reduces the number of waivers needed to buy overseas, and increases the number of foreign visas. As usual, the Democrat EO does the opposite of what is being claimed.

These comments make no sense. However broadband internet commination though our electrical grid is definitely a thing and is currently being done mostly "in-house" that I know of.

You were, or are in the industry for more than 25 years?
Distribution transformers have no need to communicate. That's typical the medium sized green box behind the shopping center or staged before a housing area.
Small, Medium and Large transformers do not communicate. They have a control that is capable of communicating, but is seldom used for that purpose. The US market depends on Beckwith Electric to provide that control or a PLC. Those devices have communication systems that are structured to be communicated with by the Utility ....Hard wired.
Now, exactly why would I know that? 16 years with Beckwith and ten years with CG Power Systems.
Seems like I have the background and experience to know exactly what I'm talking about .....But ....your electric toaster.
