The Louisville chief of police is a black woman. The Attorney General of Kentucky is a black man. Their offices handled the Breonna Taylor investigation before presenting their findings to a grand jury. If you’re a white person screaming for justice, and you really believe that 2 of the most powerful people in Kentucky, who happen to be black, are racist against black people, then you are a special kind of stupid and deserve to be miserable. It’s easy to see a black person killed by a white cop and cry racism, but apparently it’s not easy to use your brain for 5 seconds and actually think for yourself

Easily the most frustrating to deal with demographic. Especially the former republicans who are now liberal. I have a few of those in my family and they infuriate me more than they should.

They said they wouldn't announce the demographics of the grand jury at this time. LOL you know what that means. There were a few black people on it (it's Louisville after all) and it wouldn't fit the narrative.

It's been obvious since the beginning why charges weren't being brought; there was no way to make them stick. I'm sorry she died but the minute her boyfriend fired on cops (and by the way damn near killed one), fire was certain to be returned. It's a shame she got caught up in that.
There's absolutely no way to make any serious charges stick here. If you want to talk about the validity of certain police tactics or warrants, fine. But it seems pretty certain that the cops acted lawfully within the bounds of their required behavior.

It's not about whether or not there was racism here. It's about the fact that everything is racist and those that do not agree are to be silenced or destroyed.

Probably, which is why these tactics need to be curtailed. You can have a completely innocent person defending themselves against cops just trying to do their job and people die. That really shouldn't be acceptable.

Yeah, this is just one of those extremely unfortunate incidents. When the boyfriend fired, self defense came into the picture. The whole setup was really poor though. They went to serve a warrant after midnight, eventually knocked the door down and still found no drugs in the apartment after the shooting.
If what I read was accurate, they thought drugs were picked up from the apartment sometime in January, yet this search didn't happen until March. The setup was completely not worth the danger (especially in hindsight of what happened).
