I truly don't understand why more GOP-e don't get this. Trump has shown you how to win. You have to fight! Even if you don't agree with everything he does/says, your self-preservation should kick in. He can keep you in office for another generation. STFU and listen.

They're engineering this to be literally "red state vs. blue state".

They want only Republicans in red states and only Dim/Socialists in blue states.

Hell, I'd be fine with watching how it played out. But I'd rather witness balkanization or just returning to the basic original vision of the founders.

I’m pretty sure this is on ice atm because they violated the VA constitution and it’s tied up in the courts. Could be wrong though

Leftie SCOTUS justices were sitting on the distant since OCT. They thought holding out wouldn't give the Repubs enough time to move.

I'm happy to see that Repubs finally did something in response

unfortunately it's going to get destroyed eventually by all the yankees moving down there. Nashville is in bad shape.

Hopefully these kind of moves will help send a sign to new tennesseans to assimilate.

It was net +1 DNC in terms of what’s actually in law before whatever TN did today but there were 8-10 red seats in play including TN depending on who got it done and what the courts did.

In 3 different ways. Dems overplayed their hand.

The point of these redistricting movements is to intentionally stack the deck for the GOP, right? To offset the blue states that did the same thing?

Just curious if any of the states redistricting are trying to position this as being apolitical or nonpartisan.

I would much rather have the entire country redistricted apolitically, by zip code or whatever, but I guess that ain't happening. I expect that a bulletproof GOP hold on all red states will only result in their further corruption and ineptitude. Guess they are still better than the commies.

Stupid dems. Every shenanigan they pull backfires bigly.

Has anyone kept a running count since Texas kicked off this year's round of redistricting? I think if was R +1 after Florida (and counting Virginia) but that was before Calais came down.
