As Christianity has been removed from our daily lives, these mass shootings and other divisions have increased. Do you really believe that is a coincidence?

Are some of yall really conservatives? You are advocating for government invention to intrude upon the Constitution of separation b/w church and state. We are founded on a set of Christian ideals, but also have laws and rights in place that prevent others from being abrogated from practicing their beliefs.

memphisplaya I never said I was Conservative. I'm a Populist. Rewrite the Constitution if you have to, but Christianity should be in schools and should be the religion of the United States.

What exactly are you responding to?
I didn't like his demonization of Catholicism. It came off as a very non-christian POV because despite the denomination each teaches to treat others with respect and kindness.

John Adams himself wrote that our constitution would only work for a moral and religious people. He didn’t specify any particular “religion”.
Our schools should teach about our founding. And the moral fabric it enabled.
As for the Ten Commandments o change the order. Modify the phraseology. Incorporate consistent moral precepts from all established religions.
BUT do not allow any ‘religious’ dictate be taught that is in conflict with basic human morality.
Our country can only continue its existence if we get back to those basic truisms as part of our societal compact.
You can see the deterioration that has already occurred while we have flirted with nihilism as our guiding principles.

I you can’t “teach” patriotism or good moral character in school. Kids really acquire those qualities in other ways or from other experiences
