I didn’t feel that bad overall but the constant dry cough was horrible. It would wake me up all night and, by the end of 2 weeks, my ribs felt bruised from all the coughing.

It felt like there was a tiny grain of sand just stuck in the back of my throat that wouldn’t go away.

I just got back from a 2.5 week trip to South Korea and Japan and most likely contracted it. Typical congestion, sore throat, slight cough. Should I cut off my dick and change my name now or something? Is that how getting a cold works now?

International travelers were the ones that spread it to begin with.

So thanks.

I got it onMonday (clinically diagnosed) taking paxlovid and today is the first day feeling somewhat better. This shite is extremely contagious but I thought I had a cold all weekend and the Covid test was just an afterthought when I went into urgent care so I could go to work on Monday… This NB-1.8 is almost as bad as that round in 2020.

Everyone is going to get it so don’t burn those sick days if you can help it.

What are the symptoms? Pretty much all of Frisco, Tx just went through a 3-4 week round of chest congestion. Nobody here gets tested anymore so we just figured it was the current virus du jour. We all lived.

Husband brought it home from an international convention in Las Vegas.

CES Weekend. We had about 8 Nurses get super sick after that Convention and later realized they had Covid with all the typical symptoms before it was a huge thing. Lots of Chinese Vendors at CES. The crazy and sad thing is one of the Nurses in her 40s and very healthy end up having a stroke and never fully recovered. Covid was very strange on how it effected some people really bad but not others.

I believe it was designed to target certain genetic groups.

My family has the bad COVID gene. I’ve had a couple uncles on the vent. Had another uncle that went to assisted living for 2 months got out and died a few months later. 3 uncles have died within a year of having it

One of my 2nd cousins was a really healthy for a 50 year old. He had COVID in 2020 and lost a leg. His health went downhill and he died in 2022.

I’ve had it 6 times. First time I had a headache for a few hours. The other 5 times I thought I was dying. I’ve been to Urgent Care and the ER a few times.

Last time I had it I was in bed for about 3 weeks and didn’t completely get over it for 2 months. I had trouble eating, because my mouth was sensitive to texture. Sliced cheese was the only thing I could eat for 4 or 5 days. The worst part was being tired and exhausted, but not being able to sleep for over 3 days.

Absolutely had it 3 days after LSU beat Clemson in the Dome. On my back for about 10 days.
