100% truth I think DJT had folks monitoring non stop. It's actually a very good cross section of people from all over the south. All levels of education, success, etc.

I’ll say this about PT….there are very few political angles on any political news event that isn’t covered here….sometimes we get some pretty crazy and out there opinions….what’s crazier is how many times those crazy takes and opinions end up being closer to the truth than what the corporate news media has reported.

There’s nothing crazy about free speech. Ironically a kids library is full of fiction/misinformation, but that’s okay. Adults discussing civic duty, bad.

There doesn’t seem to be a lot of things here that are specifically outright verboten and even with those few topics, there seems to often be a bit of leeway.

The leeway is the problem. Enforce your rules equally or don’t.

The admins develop and hold personal vendettas. They are extremely unprofessional.

As MOT says, call it square.

Take the topic of Q. Certain posters can talk about it all they want so long as they're degrading it. On the other hand, certain other posters can be banned for months for simply talking about it in a thread they didn't even create.

That's a problem.

Ehhh, I’m not a big fan of hard and fast “rules” on something this casual.

So is a Q discussion free speech or not?

Not even Q discussion per se but how about just the Thread of Everything?

TexAgs made the mistake of trying to associate e themselves with TAMU and even though it’s very conservative, the progs on there try to use the political board as hostage saying “those racists are going to cost us recruits.”

Assumptions that Recruits (Black) can't handle the whole truth IS the ultimate statement of blatant, in-the-closet racism, IMO. Many of these young Black men are exceptionally gifted, with an opportunity to lead their weaker brethren off the racial 'grievance/victimhood plantation' and MLK's "content of one's character" truly free spiritual life. It only by hearing truth that young men can measure their beliefs and alter them accordingly. BLM (overt Marxist, IMO) at the fore.

I can understand the Tribalist loyalty, we all have that in our genes, but do not underestimate the Spiritual ability of many young Blacks, who have that 'Cross' hanging around their necks. And therein, a Spirit that will inevitably lead them to the Light that they may lead others in need.

The 'cultural' herd always runs with the leaders at the front. It is the 'Leadership' that must always be openly challenged in full public view. Censorship is a form of cowardice, if not overtly conspiratorial. Pernicious any way you cut it. The Progs on TAMU had best reexamine their strategy, lest they manifest to smart folk as being unwittingly Racist. And therein, lesser to our proudly uncensored LSU Poliboard.

TD has a clear set of policies that lead to banning. It’s also a smaller more homogeneous site than the Wild West of twitter. The very same restrictions applied here are scoffed at under Elons ideal twitter world. Twitter is enormous in scale and that works best that if people buy in to the policies clear and consistent enforcement

Or you just come to terms that free speech is not to be infringed. You have a mouth and mind for a reason

I used Tiger droppings as a surrogate twitter when I closed my former account. It really does act in a similar fashion, better than the other social media platforms I have tried.

Once I found this place, I've rarely gone to others. sometimes click on DU just to see the insanity there and never been disappointed in the totality. Still have a user name on "Debate Politic" but haven't gone there more than a few dozen times in the past decade.

You have to have some minimum standards if you want to sell adverts.

Otherwise your site will be like 4chan and all of your advertisers will be porn sites.

I actually voted for him yesterday.

I like what Kennedy says, however, he voted to send tens of billions to the Ukrainian laundromat and that doesn’t sit well with me.
Additionally, has he actually put forth any meaningful legislation to help the people of Louisiana. I hate to say it, but at this point, he may just be a sound bite machine with the fortitude of “Turtle”.

In protest (because Kennedy is going to easily win), I voted for the candidate that is...how shall I say this - VERY transparent.
