This Senate does absolutely fricking NOTHING. I think the most fascinating thing about this particular drama is the absurdity of it all. Who fricking cares?! Keep switching the clocks, don't switch the clocks. Whatever. But for fricks sake, show us you frickers can actually do something.

I would still prefer that over continuing to change clocks twice per year.

What about splitting it half and half?...30 minutes between standard time and DST.

We can think the great Senator Tom “Consensus” Cotton.

How about voter ID, instead, jackasses.

It’s a terrible idea that was tried before and no one liked it.

It is unnecessary, added tedium, and I hate losing an hour of sleep every Spring far more than I enjoy an extra hour of sleep every Fall. Statistics bare out that Spring forward is a massive statistical anomaly for heart attacks and car accidents. There is simply no good reason for it, in my opinion. I don’t care what time they pick, just stop changing the clocks!

added tedium

That’s the leadership Thune provides America and the President

I find it quite tedious to change the clock by my bed, the two clocks on the wall, the clock on my car, and all my watches twice per year. In what way is that not tedious?

It's not tedious because that's Jake88 you're talking to. Jake88 is his name and tedium and gainsaying is his game.

Thune is a fricking joke and a dismissal failure. That jackass can't spell "LEADER".

FFS, it is the middle of winter. You guys act like it is June and it gets dark at 5 PM.

Therefore, DST is preferable. When it gets dark, I don’t want to be walking around the streets of Baton Rouge alone.
Yet you'll have to walk around in the dark at 8AM.
Standard time is superior. If we have to have DST, have it b/t Memorial Day and Labor Day. That's plenty, we don't need it light outside until 9 PM.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune said Monday there is no “consensus” yet on advancing a bill establishing permanent daylight saving time
He cant drum up consensus support for strengthening federal elections protections, so I'm certain he cant do it for a clock.

Thune needs hearing aids. There is a CONSENSUS on the Save America Act. Do your job you idiot.

There a hell of alot more important things to deal with than wasting time deciding when the fricking Sun rises and sets.
