By trying to bring race into it proves you are making no attempt to be fair.
You, sir, are a liar.

The fallacy in your thinking is that white people and our culture is tribalism. It is not. We are not a unified race. Never have been. This is a economic issue. The elites try and maintain their strangle on the common man. That includes all people.

But as you are reading these threads, notice how entirely dismissive they are that university are taking bribes
Many of these celebs shout "discrimination!" from the mountain tops then they discriminate. They are pathetic. I'm glad they got caught.

Who exactly, dismissed bribery and fraud charges of college admissions? And one would be wise to PERCEIVE advantage in admissions to groups who are given MORE consideration than their academic achievements warrant because they belong to a group. It doesn’t matter if the group is based upon sex, race, religion, or alumni relationships, etc..
While I didn’t notice any “Black kids” in the reportage of this scandal, I did notice a preponderance of liberal Hollywood types!
This.

Uh, the colleges have already admitted that they give blacks an advantage. Are you calling them liars?

The people who made the bribes are libs who fully support AA. We disagree with both, so why are you bitching at us?

My issue with the admissions bribery scandal is that I just watched my kid and her exceptionally smart and hardworking friends bust their asses for years with the long term goal of getting admissions and enough scholarship money to go to school out of state at elite universities. Several made it but some did not. In that process we heard these same universities all claim that their admissions processes were blind to wealth and financial need. It sounded great, but it wasn’t entirely true. We don’t have a half million extra laying around which we could have used to bribe anyone. I’m offended because the universities all promoted themselves as meritocracies.
It isn’t really a political issue, it is about corruption. Corruption is a political issue, even in this administration. But the issue here is corruption and lack of integrity, not politics.

Just look at how colleges treat Asian Americans and you would know how much bullshite that is.

So we are offended by the same things.

Because if you were a REAL LAW & ORDER TYPE or believed in any sort of fairness, you would at least say that this is unfair to all those people who do earn and pay for school the right way.
Can you link me to one single post not saying this or defending this practice?

He’s a race baiter. He’s got nothing but endless grievance and endless time.

I'm not offended at all. I don't get "offended" easily. I do think it's incredibly unfair though, to hold people to different standards based solely on race.

What does this have to do with race?

How on Earth are you claiming a double standard? People against affirmative action can be against rich people bribing their kids way into top tier colleges.
The main point is that people should get into college by their merits not because of their skin color, gender, or how big mommy or daddy's pocket books are.

So if we are going strictly off of test scores and merit, what would that mean for minorities that get advantages that Whites and Asians don't get? It cuts both ways. This is a huge waste of tax payer dollars and FBI resources.

This OP is a ridiculous assessment. Conservatives have been trying to tell you for years that celebrities are not our betters, and their opinions do not matter, but somehow celebrities getting arrested for crimes they committed automatically means, in your mind, that conservatives support them. How do you even get to that conclusion?
