Yesterday, while driving to the lake, was listening to patriot radio as I always do. Mark Levins show was starting...for the past few episodes, his show has started with the National Anthem. My kids (five and two), were in the back being kids, loud and what not. About halfway through the opening, I didn’t hear anything in the backseat, which was odd, turned around to see my boys with their hand on their heart while the National Anthem was playing. I damn near started crying, it made me proud and got me to thinking, if we raise our kids to fear the Lord, and love this country, the left will have a fight on their hands. Hope you guys have a good day

That’s awesome.

If these weirdo prog parents teach their kids that America is evil it makes sense that they don’t view the flag and the anthem like we do.

Yesterday my kid (much older than yours) asked me what exactly the flag represents in 2020. The government it flies for does everything in its power to indoctrinate our kids, wastes trillions in endless wars, brings in millions of people that hate me and want my way of life altered forever, goes everywhere more into debt that can never be repayed, abd on and on.

There is nothing about this system that represents me and fake patriotism for what it may have represented over 100 years ago won't change that. This nation as founded is beyond over... the faster we all agree and discuss a new future the better.

Ya'll are doing a good job!

Enjoy your lake trip, when you get home employ those boys to erect a flagpole in the front yard and continue their education. Never let patriotism die.

A new future consisting of what? That's a broad statement that needs some clarity.

Thanks for providing us this example of the results of bad parenting, made even more cogent when compared to the OP.

Congrats, I have 4 sons , all over 21 , which have a level head , work hard and are a success in their lives . They all are respectful ( maybe not always to me lol) and they have a grasp of right and wrong . Do I wanna know everything they do , hell no , but I don’t worry about them in a situation which has a disastrous outcome .
