This Steve Hilton campaign ad is brilliant.

So many campaign ads are preaching to the choir types or the kind designed to scare your own people to the polls.
This one is unique because it not only is reaching out to people who would not typically vote for you, but it gives them psychological permission to do it.

It's definitely a different approach.
It's cute. And the "now lick it" ending is funny.
It would lose its flavored after the 3rd time though. I hope it's not one that they blast nonstop very other day.

I viscerally hate this add.
It’s vapid with almost no redeeming qualities.
But what is the most distressing aspect? This just might be the only way to reach young white women! It’s 100% emotional, and has 0% factual logical appeal. Everything screams safe rebellion. Dim intimate lighting, a “loving and all embracing LGBTQ” flag quietly dominating the background, soft intimate music with reassuring and romantic lyrics, daring sexual tension between two attractive young women that defies the patriarchal father,and it offers feel good emotions without consequence.
I don’t know if it will work. But I know two things. First logical conversation concerning cause and effect will not. And second, the left will go absolutely ape shite over this because of the truths it reveals, and the possibility that it might actually reach its target audience.
And this is its one redeeming feature!

No.
This is California, the land of make believe Hollywood where reality is held at bay regardless of the cost and consequences.
Liberals actually outnumber conservatives, and while there is gerrymandering and cheating, the influx of perpetual free shite liberals and out migration of conservatives tired of paying for it will increase the liberal advantage and state fiscal irresponsibility.
I expect a complete Democrat victory as usual.
The ever present Democrat cheating, fraud, and Dominion rigging will only determine who is the victor between Democrats.

Nahh.. we we laugh at California voters who gleefully keep voting for imbeciles and then continually complain about taxes, regulations, and cost of living and flee to red states to get relief from it.
Only to want more taxes, regulations, and higher cost of living when they get there.
