Govt Confiscation without Compensation - that's the exact Govt policy in current South Africa for whites who are experiencing Govt confiscation of their family farms. Family farms turned into Government farms overnight.

I would classify the government forcing a private company to do its bidding as fascism, but it is authoritarianism regardless.

A bunch of these businesses leaving aren’t ones with heavy capital investment either. They are more based on human value (institutional knowledge, connections with various other groups, etc). In other words, shite that doesn’t just work when turned over to the proletariat.

A lot of the millionaires own businesses located all over America and the globe. Often, the only thing in NYC is one of the administrative offices. NYC has way too many empty offices these days to start with.
Mamdani want's to get rid of the gifted schools. That's a big factor in keeping NYC non-gay professional class in the city.
