There’s a shite ton of rural areas where the USPS is the only option. Amazon, Fed Ex, UPS depend on USPS to deliver to these places that are not within their delivery capacity.

If you request a ballot by mail, but on Election Day you go to the local polling place how do they know if you sent it in? At my polling place they look at my address on my drivers license and compare it to what they have on file. Then they give me a ballot.
