Several years ago I heard Greg Gutfeld commenting on how the left was demonizing the right with labels such as racist, misogynist, etc. He said the intent was for us to be seen as evil. It would then follow that violence against evil was OK therefore violence against us was acceptable.

I've been saying this for literally 30 years.

If people call everyone you agree with Nazis, you really should take notice because I know what I'd think was acceptable if I really thought I was opposing Nazis.

It’s 2020 and the Democrats want paper ballots.

Not sure about that.

Pissgate conspiracy theories
Russian Collusion conspiracy theories
Election hacking conspiracy theories.
Ukraine conspiracy theories (impeached Trump for this).
Income Tax conspiracy theories.

Not sure why the left is so prone to this kind of nonsense except that they WANT to believe every ridiculous thing they hear about POTUS.

In all likelihood, they've been slated to go for a while.

WE MAIL A shite TON LESS NOW THAN IN THE PAST!

This is NOT fricking news.

So. However many machines you needed 10 years ago? Yeah. You don't need that many now.

K Mart has fewer cash registers too!

I'm just curious why the USPS hasn't come out to emphatically dispel such rumors.

Rumors of what?

It's a near certainty that the USPS has been drawing down shite every year for years. And, they ARE bleeding money. So, that would make sense.

There's nothing to dispel. The left is taking NORMAL shite and making it out to be for nefarious reasons.

Rumors that they're doing this because of the election. I know this sounds rational to you, but it doesn't to many.

All they'd have to do is say "These machines located at X, Y, and Z have been slated for removal since this date" or "This is the mail volume change at locations X, Y, and Z and that's why we're removing them".

Sounds like they've done a piss poor job of not giving Democrats ammunition.

Especially when Trump said this:

quote:

They want three and a half billion dollars for the mail-in votes. Universal mail-in ballots. They want $25 billion, billion, for the Post Office. Now they need that money in order to make the Post Office work so it can take all of these millions and millions of ballots,"

So? That sounds like a statement of fact.

Universal mail-in ballots are 100% proven to be an unmitigated disaster. Even you have to acknowledge that.

Yes. The post master general has been in charge since June and is following the plan given to him. The amount of mail being delivered is down dramatically and are unnecessary.

This is made up so we will stop discussing how shitty a candidate Kamala and Biden are. It’s a shiny object for people to follow and generate tweets and posts to feel intellectually superior.

Very good point on 3.

Obama in 2016:
"There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even — you could even rig America’s elections, in part, because they are so decentralized and the numbers of votes involved,” Obama said during a press conference at the White House in October 2016. “There is no evidence that that has happened in the past or that there are instances in which that will happen this time. And so I’d invite Mr. Trump to stop whining and go try to make his case to get votes.”

That's the hilarious part.

Is that moron really unaware that there are A LOT...……..A WHOLE frickING LOT fewer blue mail boxes now than say, 10 years ago?

No one mail shite anymore. This isn't news to anyone.

Lots of things change. Years ago there was a pay phone on every corner.

Regarding mailing anything... where do these people live?

In a house? There is a fricking mailbox in front.

In an apartment? There is usually a central area with mailboxes for each resident. Both the apartments I lived in also had another box built into the system specifically for OUTGOING mail.

I would assume that housing projects have something similar to the apartment style mailboxes.

WTF is wrong with people? It is not hard for to mail something.

There was also some nitwit saying that people couldnt use Fedex or UPS to send in the ballots because of the cost. They were both about $20 for a letter delivery and the USPS was only .55 for a stamp. Well the USPS is hemorrhaging cash because they only charge .55 for the letter. They should get a single dime from the government. They should raise their rates to cover the costs to move the mail. If it cost $2 to mail a letter so be it. Its not like you could drive 500 miles away to deliver a letter for $2.

I personally believe that we should have an election day holiday and everyone should vote in person. You should have to have an ID and stick your finger into the dye like they do in the middle east. Only persons who are not able to go to the polls (such as bed ridden) should be allowed to use an absentee ballot.

Voting is the most important thing a citizen can do. It shouldnt be easy. Look at what is required to purchase a gun (another right).

They're is absolutely no way something could easily be the dumbest thing the Dems have done.

I think it would be very difficult to decide upon the dumbest thing the Dems have every done.

The USPS isn’t designed to make money. What has really fricked up USPS is the pre-funding of health benefits up front...which btw, was done under the Bush Administration with a Republican backed Congress.

The conspiracy doesn’t just stop with mail-in voting. Trump wants to privatize the entire service. He’s made no secret of that. Is it a coincidence he placed someone in charge that has millions of investments in USPS competitors? Nah.

Every throughout lockdowns in March-May, mail service remained normal. It’s really been since late June into July that it has slowed down enormously- around the time DeJoy was put in place.

There is no fake news with this conspiracy.

Nothing you posted in your OP is part of the "conspiracy" though

They're saying Trump is deliberately fricking with the post office to prevent mail-in ballots

And then he confirmed this himself.

If you're okay with that, cool. I can't imagine how anyone would be, but whatever.

We also already have this thing called absentee ballots which anyone that is afraid to go out of their home can use to cast their vote. This is the new “racism” and “they’re going to take seniors social security away” scare tactic.
