Penn State Nittany Lions star wrestler Aaron Brooks won his third national championship. But during his celebratory interview, he caused quite a bit of controversy.

quote:

“It’s everything. Christ’s resurrection is everything,” Brooks said after the match. “Not just his life, but his death and resurrection. You can only get that through Him. The Holy Spirit only through Him. No false prophets, no Muhammad or no anyone else. Only Jesus Christ himself.”

What will happen first; a fatwa issued or him getting canceled? Do they cancel black guys?

FTR I believe what is said is correct.

Well, he chose to give up his black status when he decided to follow Christ... Now, he is more hated than the white man...

Good for Aaron. Whatever happened to speaking "his truth", and liberals being proud of a strong black man?

Hope he keeps his head on a swivel and stays protected, he might get thrown off a building. You know that's what they do...

That's great.

I thought it was going to be the Iowa wrestler's mother crushing her glasses in anger when her son lost.

Anyone who is offended by his comments is living a privileged life free from any real problems.

Progressives are allowed to extensively proclaim their devotion to the religion of environmentalism and Marxism. Don’t see anything wrong with what he said at all.

He must have been reading some of what I’ve written.

The truth is all Christians should have that attitude. Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of all prophesies. With fulfillment there isn’t a need for further prophets (Muhammad).

Whatever Muhammad May or may not have been, in a Christian’s eyes he can’t be a prophet and Christ be who He claimed.

It’s really one or the other.

What is up with athletes and religion? NBA stars turning into Nazis, wrestlers saying it is gods work that he won a natty.....really? As bad or worse than actors thinking anyone cares what they think.

Dude will take some heat for certain and its well earned. No one cares what his personal world view is but when you air it folks will care. Apparently he thought he was important enough to anyone outside his family that his thoughts on the matter mattered....typical of folks his age. He will take some heat for a minute for certain...

Pretty crazy that a Christian isn’t a follower of Muhammad. Pretty scandalous

We’ve had to listen to the world views of dumbasses like Lebron and other morons regarding social justice, inequality, etc the last few years, why cant the say his piece when given the opportunity? Mohammed is a false prophet and the irony of those in the comments under the video crying about offending Muslims when Muslims in the Middle East have been executing Christians and burning down churches for years now.

The Quote below might have something to do with it.

Saint Paul : "Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.
They do it to get a perishable crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever."

Athletes that believe in Christ understand this message and feel the need to give thanks to God for both crowns. They understand that he is the giver of all things good and they want to give thanks to him who is everything.
They know the reward of training the body with discipline and denial of self to reach a goal that is worth the effort. Few know this feeling so it is understandable that you are confused by his statement.
But take heart, you still have time to learn the secrets of Christ. Don't waste it.

Yep, that’s some pretty violent hate speech right there. They will have to remove him for the safety of the other students.
