I owned a business in Flowood back in the day. I hired this really nice 18 year old black kid from Jackson, kind of a sweet demeanor, very polite. He was rough around the edges but seemed pretty reliable and conscientious. I felt like I had given him a good opportunity and thought he might be on his way to a normal productive life. About two months later he didn’t show up for work. Turns out he tried to Jack a car, and when she didn’t comply he shot her. He’s in Parchman now. Freaks me out that I worked with him for two months. Who does this shite ?
