Civilized people who are trying to conceive, and the people in their lives, lament such a scenario pretty regularly.

Everyday you wake up and take a breath it's a gamble. Life forces everyone to learn about risk and reward at some level, some are better at weighing risk and reward than others and they tend to thrive.

I agree with him on this issue, but not for racial reasons.

I used to be pro-life, but I realized abortion is a check on the dregs of society - of all races.

Freakonomics has a great chapter on this.

The dregs of all races are still out breeding the successful and educated. We realize kids are expensive, they use them for a paycheck.

So it's racist to "SAY" basically what is already happening?

I'm not talking about a miscarriage, a-hole.

I'm talking about the egg never attaching.

If people really thing that a zygote is a human, then they have been brainwashed.

I didn't realize it until I started traveling more in 2012 2013. It's plain as day now that I see Somalian Muslims taking over entire pockets of Minneapolis and when traveling to Europe seeing that half of the university students are Muslims from Middle East and Africa

Even in Kiev there were zero Muslim adults but on the campus it was like 15% Muslim

You're aware that one of the authors repudiated that chapter, right?

So? He didn't invent the idea, or the information behind it. He simply discussed it.

Just because he succumbed to PC pressure doesn't change anything.

Good answer I agree. Just because he pussed out doesn't make it a less valid conversation.

Many pro choice are in favor of this whether they admit it or not.

I would vote for Obamacare today if it gave free birth control and free abortions, and put a clinic in every town.

I hate Planned Parenthood, because it is a liberal activist organization, but I agree with the organization in general.

Libertarianism is less government. Pro-choice is less government when it comes to abortion. Libertarians should be pro-choice unless they actually believe a fetus being aborted is murder.

There's no precise definition between 'sufficient government' and 'running amock' among libertarians. There are a few libertarians who don't believe we should have driver licenses while there are some that believe there should to protect the general population (laws that make sense).

And with abortion, the same rule applies. For some Libertarians, abortion is murder and for some it isn't. Because of the huge grey area that doesn't define when a life is created, we can't say that all libertarians should be pro-choice.

I have no objection to the conversation. But I don't recall that chapter being some full throated celebration of abortion. It was an analytical discussion of reality.

I would like for our society to appreciate that chapter and still make the human decision not to use it as the basis for abortion policy.

Most of the people in here are so desperate to turn the pro-choice argument into the argument of evil people that they fail to recognize their own hypocrisy in how it relates to both the immigration crisis as well as the bodily autonomy debate.

I distinguish pro-choice, relatively normal people from people and organizations that are downright celebratory about abortion. The former are people making the wrong decision, IMO, about a controversial and tough issue. The latter are subhuman filth.
