Totally agree on the no-knock warrant shite. If they mistakenly went to my house and just kicked my door in they’d be running into a hail of bullets and I’d end up dead trying to innocently protect my family from a home invasion. Very unamerican practice

Frick that arrogant piece of Democrat trash. I remember after one of the school shootings a few years ago he just couldn't understand why anybody needed a gun. He got us Saints fans alot of wins and a Super Bowl but he's dirt to me.

I agree with you in principle, but just avoid the issue by not dealing drugs and not sleeping with drug dealers.

If you were asleep in your bed and knew you had done nothing wrong, someone breaks into your place unannounced, how would you react?
You might want to go back and review the actual facts of the case.

So this board doesn’t worship an adulterer(Trump) and a prescription drug user(Rush)? Very sad.

They can go to the wrong house. That was my point lol, cops aren’t perfect and they make mistakes. I think it’s extremely dangerous to no-knock what they assume is the right residence

Taylor is the only case I’ve seen so far that I agree was unwarranted police action.
I do not agree at all with No-knock warrants.
I agree with you, but my understanding is that they actually did knock and announce. At that point, I feel they have every right to break the door down if they have a warrant.

I hear you. But I’m not familiar with this being a common problem. Odds are if you’re not a criminal or with criminals this isn’t going to happen. Still, I agree no knocks should only be allowed in extremes circumstances.

I don’t want to write them off entirely and say they’re banned but most of the time it’s not worth it and shouldn’t be used. The cops don’t want to give the people a chance to flush the drugs but it’s not worth it l. The WoD isn’t worth it in general

Yup.
It should be a pretty darn rare occurrence. I’m talking terror cell with well documented explosives level. And come with full liability if you roll on the wrong house etc.,,
Dude suspected of some drugs? Sit on the house for a minute to learn the ins and outs and snag them at an opportune time that’s not kicking down a door in the middle of the night.

No evidence has been presented that Taylor was dealing drugs. Despite the claims made for the no-knock warrant, no drugs or drug paraphernalia were found at Taylor’s residence.

Was she not in bed with a convicted drug dealer?

Cops identified themselves. He knew.

Also, even if he was dealing drugs, I’d be against this.

Tell Rand Paul. He’s already on it.

Lie lie lie.
In fact, since the arrest of Glover and his accomplices' video and phone screening has provided additional evidence that proves that not only was Taylor's house a target for the raid (it was a 2 house raid) that she was active in helping Glover distribute drugs for years.
In fact, in 2016 this so-called EMT lost her license when a car rented in her name turned up with a dead body.
You have been lied to and you bought it hook, line and sinker.

Ex boyfriend...but the cops thought she might be stashing money or drugs for him.
