I'm waiting for all of the TDS vaccine hard chargers to pivot to blaming Trump for the ineffectiveness of the vaccine. It WILL happen.

I've already encountered it. Simple response.. "Imagine Trump doing nothing to support or expedite a vaccine while the rest of the world rushed to produce them."

Sounds like the vaccines give short term immunity(antibodies) but are not as effective in giving long term immunity (b-cell & T-cell immunity)

I'm glad that y'all appear to be interested in science, and I hope that y'all follow the recommendations.

You and Powerman better make sure you wear your masks into the glory hole, but once you’re inside on your knees Fauci says you can take them off.

Here’s a short list of local, state, & national Covid mandates that were implemented to “mitigate” the China Flu:
The Worst Offenders

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued a draconian order that not only required most businesses to close, but also:
•forced hardware stores, which were allowed to remain open, to close off the parts of their stores that sold carpet, flooring, furniture, garden supplies, and paint;
•disregarded businesses’ free speech rights by prohibiting them from advertising or promoting any goods other than “groceries, medical supplies, or items that are necessary to maintain the safety, sanitation, and basic operation of residences”;
•banned motorboats, jet skis, and other watercraft, while allowing the use of kayaks, canoes, and sailboats; and
•prohibited residents from traveling to a second home or a vacation rental.
•Vermont Governor Phil Scott announced It that no one may gather with anyone from another household—even outdoors. He justified the ban because “you don’t know what your neighbor has done.” (He later amended the order to allow socially distanced walks with one other person.)
•Villages in New York banned the use of leaf-blowers. According to the mayor of Sleepy Hollow, because of the COVID pandemic, blowing dust into the air “creates a HAZMAT situation.” And in Croton-on-Hudson, the Village manager expressed “concern that the use of leaf blowers may be contributing to the spread of the virus although there is no scientific proof of this.”
•Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker imposed a “no exceptions” mask mandate requiring everyone age 5 and older to wear masks in public, even when outdoors and socially distanced (or, presumably, alone).
•Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti banned all travel other than for essential activities, including “travel on foot, bicycle, scooter, motorcycle, automobile, or public transit.” In other words, no unnecessary walking
•The mayor of Louisville, Kentucky, banned drive-in church services for Easter. Fortunately, a federal judge put a stop to the ban, writing that the mayor’s order was something “this court never expected to see outside the pages of a dystopian novel, or perhaps the pages of The Onion.”
•Police in Encinitas, California, cited 22 people for “watching the sunset” and “having picnics near the beach.” Violations carry fines of up to $1,000 and up to six months in jail.
•A 19-year-old woman in Pennsylvania was stopped by police and given a $200 ticket when she went for a drive—alone—“just to get out of the house.”
•In California, police chased down and arrested paddleboarders and surfers who went out in the ocean—socially distanced from anyone.
•A man in Brighton, Colorado, was arrested for playing catch with his 6-year-old daughter on a near-empty softball field.
The COVID pandemic has once again shown that when government officials are allowed to reach beyond their proper role, it is the people and their freedoms that suffer.

You sound like Don Lemon or one of the other sheep at CNN.
No one is anti-vax.. at least not any real or influential segment of the population. Many people are anti-vax mandate... you know, principles liberals used to have. And anti mandate people tend to be about as open-minded to alternative treatments and strategies as anyone on the planet.

Is it your anti-vax boogeyman blocking Doc's from writing prescriptions to alternative treatments? Is he on cable news every night snarking about horse paste? Is he trying to restrict treatments like monoclonal antibodies?
Is he mandating passports, lockdowns, and perpetual mask mandates that clearly dont work? Idiot.

What's the difference between antibody immunity abd B cell immunity?

Myth: There are severe side effects of the COVID-19 vaccines.

This isn’t a myth. They don’t like it. But it’s not a myth.

Myocarditis, clotting issues including TPP. Those are severe side effects.

This isn’t a science link you gave. It’s a propaganda link.

Notice these hypocrites spouting "science" are never able to offer any sort of scientific discussion on the topics they're so opinionated/certain about?

The sole reliance on vaccination as a primary strategy to mitigate COVID-19 and its adverse consequences needs to be re-examined, especially considering the Delta (B.1.617.2) variant and the likelihood of future variants. Other pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions may need to be put in place alongside increasing vaccination rates. Such course correction, especially with regards to the policy narrative, becomes paramount with emerging scientific evidence on real world effectiveness of the vaccines.

For instance, in a report released from the Ministry of Health in Israel, the effectiveness of 2 doses of the BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) vaccine against preventing COVID-19 infection was reported to be 39% [6], substantially lower than the trial efficacy of 96% [7]. It is also emerging that immunity derived from the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine may not be as strong as immunity acquired through recovery from the COVID-19 virus [8]. A substantial decline in immunity from mRNA vaccines 6-months post immunization has also been reported [9]. Even though vaccinations offers protection to individuals against severe hospitalization and death, the CDC reported an increase from 0.01 to 9% and 0 to 15.1% (between January to May 2021) in the rates of hospitalizations and deaths, respectively, amongst the fully vaccinated [10].

Looks ^^^ like the same information that's been presented on this forum for the past 6 months. We're a cutting edge news source......

Need to be going hard on therapeutics. Monoclonal antibody injection or infusion is promising and should be more widely available and talked up. Vaccine mandates are stupid and likely unconstitutional if some of these law suits would get fast tracked and make their way to SCOTUS. Taking a vaccine of dubious efficacy every 6 months is insane.

McAbs seem to be the most useful weapon against C19. They need to ramp production of it more aggressively than with vaccines, as there's more evidence of effectiveness, but no, *resident Biden is restricting access instead of doing that.

The silver lining to C19 is that it's shown us who needs to be eliminated from our society, and I'm not talking about the people it infects.

The various therapies are shown highly effective if taken by day 5 of infection. If taken by day 3, not only does the infection not reach a serious stage in 95%+ of patients but the symptomatic stage is shortened by weeks. Add to that natural, natural immunity is also achieved, which is far better than what vaccines provide. Most effective so far is been monoclonal antibodies. Remdesivir works too but must be taken early. However, Remdesivir can produce side effects, including liver and kidney damage. The common factor to them all is early detection and early therapy.

You think Pharma companies created Delta and are creating Covid Virus variants so as to make money from new shots? Is that what you are saying>

Intentionally? Of course not.

Is it well accepted in the virology and epidemiological community that ineffective vaccines can spur variants?

The answer is yes. And if you look for it, you’ll find epidemiologists warning about rushing these vaccines late last year for that very same reason.

How about simply approving Novovax for emergency use? They’re clearly slow walking it for some (likely financial) reason (theyd be a risk to the lucrative booster market is what a birdie tells me).

There’s no submission to authoritarians with Novavax.

Next, death of 30% of the US in the next 60 months or sooner. I shouldn’t drink with those people anymore.

So what changed between trial and actual and why did they push out an inferior product after trial? And why is anyone still listening to Fauci?

There was a prominent Scientist out of Germany (Bahktari is his name IIRC) who made the observation that the Moderna vaccine efficacy study was conducted using a PCR test with a much lower cycle threshold than what was used before there were vaccines.

He plugged the previously used cycle threshold numbers into their efficacy study and found that the efficacy of the Moderna vaccine was actually 19%.

Wow, sad to see the propaganda they call an article

Actually very little if any science in that. Some of which contradicts phizer own studies

Almost like they have a financial interest in this.
