You clearly don't know Iran. They aren't the goat frickers. They are the closest to western ideals we can expect in the region. They have been suppressed by their leadership. They hoped we could rescue them from this by intervening. Apparently this was wrong. They begged for this, yet the general populace doesn't have the ability to make a change.
