liberal's don't engage due to the rage of this board IMO. Trump supporters on this board love a good progressive bashing and tend not to care about facts just like the liberal posters and the gotcha post about Trump. I have come to expect this from most post. Some of the tax reform post have been informative but now that bill is in committee it will change and lead to more debate.

Well. Frankly. I would prefer more actual debate where my position isn't assumed to only exist because Trump.
I mean I've been here for friggin 9 years and you have posters assuming i just discovered i like reduced taxes last year

I'm an occasional poster but really long time reader.
What's keeping decent liberals away is the sec rant levels of trolling that defines our political discourse today. The libs who post now mostly troll. The majority of conservatives are here for the libtears.
The divide here isn't really liberals and conservatives, its the liberals and conservatives who prefer discourse without trolling and the liberals and conservatives who'd rather troll.

I submit that on the RARE occasion a liberal chooses to engage me and manage to go 3 posts without using some form of ism, i enjoy it
Absent that, when all i see is one troll tread after the other, the only rational response is to tweak them

I would prefer not to troll, but we have 10 threads a day where the sum total of the OP is "We Love Our POTUS", 15 twitter threads a day and if you dare disagree with a Trump position you're either melting or a cuck. Ohh, and then let us not forget the daily "Serious Question for Libz:" thread where the subject is some god awful strawman like "What is it you like about raping children?" What is enticing about engaging with that kind of nonsense?
It was NOT like this prior to this election. It was nothing like this as a matter of fact. The place was invaded by neckbeard 4channers which, in turn, brought out the lib trolls en masse.

which would put the "conservative" posters as high as 360 to 450... nah, there are a lot less than 40-50 "liberal" posters.
Now if you consider not blowing off the god emporer every chance you get in hopes of getting a load on your face as "liberal" - then sure, those numbers might be a "little" higher.
