His point is that it’s the seizing of the assets that’s the story here…not the “loan”.
I don’t think you understand what is going on. Dems have been floating the idea of stealing that money and giving it to Ukraine. This “loan” is pretty clearly a step in that direction.

One big circle jerk. By Government employees with nothing better to do.
Simple solution, far cheaper? Fire the Government employees ……and don’t replace them.
Once you study it in detail. Over educated stupid people are far more dangerous than one uneducated person with a pitchfork.

We’ve been giving away obsolete military hardware since the beginning of WW2. MANY small nations have whole navy vessels under the “Lease” program. Some of the “loaned” ships are even credited with being instrumental in several various naval battles in both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
Several of the “borrowers” are now the sources of our illegal alien problem including China and a couple of SA nations.
To date, not one ship has been returned nor paid any cash towards purchasing.
