.....Civilization is pure brilliance. A couple of highlights:

1) "At some point, Nationalism became a dirty word."

2) "The West has become ashamed of what made us great."

I don't know if Rubio writes his own speeches (I bet he writes most of them), but simply based on this clip this was an iconic speech.

Nice backdrop, too.

I listen to a Canadian podcast and they were blown away with Rubio's speech. They think he is the most amazing person on earth at the moment

He is such a great reader. Just like hollywood does when trying to sell a movie, the background made him look bigger than he really is.

So many will fall for a reader in front of a nice background. Besides that, when a person reads, it is called a manuscript speech. Thank the Lord a gust of wind did not blow his manuscript away.

*** I just watched Bari Weiss give a speech and she is also a great reader. Maybe her and Marco can run together.

Have you never heard him speak off-the-cuff? He almost never fails to impress me.

Right now, I'd say that Rubio is the last guy that anybody should compare to one of those Hollywood phonies.

I know you don't like him, though.

It is a fantastic speech. He weaves in the founders, Greek history, but more importantly, he points out that we are at an inflection point for civilization. The West is under attack and now is the time to fight back.

Stephen miller has major input on speeches.

Great speech indeed. We definitely need our leaders to help us fight what they put us in.

Rubio must have some kind of dry mouth condition. Though he stays away from getting caught drinking from a bottle of water. And damn those ears. They are 90 yo man size already.

Cynical nonsense, attacking the speaker for presentation instead of addressing the contents of the speech.

Good. He should. Miller, Rubio and only a few others have the balls to speak the truth and maintain an unapologetic stance regarding Western Man’s greatness.

WESTERN MAN towers over the rest of the world in ways so large as to be almost inexpressible.
It's Western exploration, science, and conquest that have revealed the world to itself.
Other races feel like subjects of Western power long after colonialism, imperialism, and slavery have disappeared.
The charge of racism puzzles whites who feel not hostility, but only baffled good will, because they don't grasp what it really means: humiliation.
The white man presents an image of superiority even when he isn't conscious of it.
And superiority excites envy.
Destroying white civilization is the inmost desire of the league of designated victims we call 'minorities.'

But what Canadians? IDGAF what any Canuck in Ontario, BC, or the Maritimes says, they are Marxists to their core riding on Albertan money.

His speechwriters are going to make bank. Great shite. He sounds like VDH.

You sound like my mother in law. Everyone to her is either too fat, too thin, bad hair, weird looking, etc. Ironically she never baths or hardly gets out of bed unless she wants to share info she learned on MSNBC or whatever it is.

There's another one called Fringe (I think - I just happened to just stumble upon it somewhere on the internet) - They were going crazy over Rubio but can't seem to find it because I can't remember where I saw it, but this guy had nice things to say about it

Anybody with a private high school education can read that speech in front of that back drop. They are pushing this former Gang of 8 member because they know he is just biding his time until POTUS Trump exits.

Fortunately for the USA, Rubio will not be on the winning ticket in 2028.

Well, being a great reader, got Obama two terms and made him extremely rich.

This was a superb speech

He nails the key point of what our cities have be taught to believe about American exceptionalism … and taught to somehow feel guilty about it.

That is the American educational system in a nutshell.

I mean Trump going off cuff sends so many people over the edge, including I voted trump 3 times folks.

So someone that just reads seems what people actually want.

Rubio seems like a smart, articulate, more or less normal, guy. Is he a wolf in sheep's clothing? Impossible to know but there literally isnt a single individual in the Democrat party that can speak that coherently about such topics. Its all equity, and racism and other BS with them and they all sound like they should be mopping floors instead of being politicians. Its nice Rubio is at least capable of speaking in a manner worthy of his position.
