As someone who speaks Spanish, the translation is taken a bit out of context. Is it bad? Yes. But I personally didn't hear it with racist intents. It has more to do with the kids jumping all over the place and being undisciplined. Mexicans will call anyone's misbehaves kid "changuito".
Having said that, why isn't anyone looking into the allegation that these two dudes are using a black kid as an accessory? There is likely is some truth to that if it's coming from inner circles. But because gay > black > latino in the suffrage Olympics, people will ignore the fact that the kid is being used as a fashion statement.

Apparently, the gay dude parades the black kid as a social status accessory. The dude used the black kid to invite himself into a parade float for a MLK parade. It was unofficially understood that the first was for POCs. But the gay official used his adopted black kid to get in on the action.
