Trump has a documented record of major promises that were never fulfilled. Among others, making Mexico pay for the border wall, repealing and replacing Obamacare, eliminating the federal debt, releasing his tax returns. More recently, the proposed $5,000 DOGE dividend that was never issued and later promised roughly $2,000 tariff-dividend checks, which also have not been paid. The announced $5,000 “Trump dividend” is not yet a broken promise because it is conditional on future election results and would require congressional approval.
But like the other promises, it ain't happening.

I think it was more of an incentive for republicans to get out and vote and not pay for play like dems normally do
