So anytime Trump speaks, he gets muted? 
I like the idea though only because it will show viewers how awful and conniving the media is and make them more steadfast to vote for Trump.

I think this actually helps Trump. His biggest mistake in the last debate was not letting Biden talk. And the longer Biden talks the worse he looks.

Here’s the question though. If both sides agree to a format where each side gets a certain number of minutes to talk and the person on the other side interrupts the person who is talking and does not abide by the rules they agree to, what do you think should be done? If this is to have any value, you can’t have them screaming over each other.

Not so bad, will let Biden bury himself with his answers. Then Trump can call out the lies and boost his achievements to counter. Also he will kill Joe during the segments after where they just go at each other.

Each candidate's mic should be cut when their time has elapsed. There should be a live play clock that all can see. The last debate was a farce.

As long as they aren’t cutting trump off when it is his time to speak because he is “telling lies” or “off topic” I’m fine with the mute.

I was actually thinking that, assuming it is fairly applied, it is an advantage for Trump to sit back and let Joe trip over his droopy old balls like he always does.

What do the rules say about the moderator being on one teams side and debating one of the candidates?
