I bet if you asked Trump, even after this, he won't ban AR-15's.

Yeah because the guy that shot the fricking president wouldn’t have just gotten the gun illegally. Also the rally was a gun free zone!!!

Do you think it sounded like AR rounds?

It would have been much worse if he had a deer rifle.

From what I heard it did sound like a small center fire rifle, .223 or 7.62x39 range. Definitely not a .308 or larger

Wouldn’t he have gotten off more than one shot?

Report was small caliber. Until they said it was AR style, I'd have said a .22LR

Couldn’t have been an AR. Biden said an AR round passing this close to your head would literally suck your brain out of your ear Jack!

He’s lucky if it was an ar15. Terrible option for long range precision shooting.

In a competent shooters hands, that shot would be made with a .22 magnum rifle. Lucky the guy was awful.

A simple AR can hit a point target at 300 yards easily.

The weapon is an appropriate choice for war.

Yeah but not long range sniping if you intend to kill a human target in one shot at roughly 150 yards. Assuming .223

My first thought was a .22 rifle.

A Ruger can pop them off as fast as any semi-auto out there. Load it with Stinger hollow points in a 50 round mag, and you actually have very formidable and accurate small caliber weapon.

Who knows. The bystanders head was hit with “brain matter” according to a witness, but Trump was barely knicked.

Could be either

ABC making the deadly AR 15 deal.

Kennedy was shot with a surplus bolt action rifle.

Not an AR 15 issue.

Sounded like a suppressed .556 round.
